DC Universe Infinite is finally expanding worldwide, as the DC Comics subscription service will soon be available across the globe. On Monday, DC Comics revealed their digital comics-reading app will be available in several new countries later this year, including Brazil, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. The app, which features an extensive part of the DC Comics library and other features, will be rolled out throughout the coming weeks and summer.
Back in 2020, DC Comics announced the launch of DC Universe Infinite, a subscription-based platform where readers could read comics on their online devices. Previously, DC Universe was home to their comics, television, and movie content before the streaming side of things moved to HBO Max. Upon the app's relaunch to focus solely on digital comics as DC Universe Infinite, DC Comics initially revealed the subscription service would be available outside the United States soon after the rebrand. However, more than a year ed without any news - until recently, when expansion into Canada was revealed. And now, DC Universe Infinite is going global.
DC Comics revealed DC Universe Infinite will be expanding globally throughout 2022. In the new announcement, DC revealed the digital comics subscription app will be coming to iOS and Android in a host of new locations, including Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Mexico. The news means that for the first time, the countries will have access to more than 25,000 digital comic books, interviews, and discussions that can be accessed through the app.
In a statement regarding the new announcement, DC Senior Vice President and General Manager Anne Leung DePies said she is thrilled to bring DC Universe Infinite across the globe. She said the launch is the first of "many more to come."

For the next 30 days, readers who sign up will save money on their subscription, as the annual price for Canada ($59.99 vs. $89.99 CAD), Australia ($64.99 vs. $99.99 AUD), and New Zealand ($64.99 vs. 99 NZD) are among locations offering discounts for the period. Readers can also subscribe monthly. The prices for Brazil and Mexico will be revealed at a later date.
The important dates to for DC Universe Infinite's iOS and Android global launches are as follows: Canada (now available), Australia and New Zealand (March 29, 2022), U.K. (April 28, 2022), and Brazil and Mexico in the summer of 2022.
