Several DC Universe, I'm convinced the cast from the Prime Video series would be perfect for high-profile heroes and villains. The Boys has become one of the most popular superhero TV shows of all time, with its satirical take on the genre leading to both hilarious and shocking moments over four seasons so far.
While the DCU's Chapter One, as The Authority was put on the back burner as DC tries to figure out how it can work in a world where The Boys redefined the genre. Bringing in actors from the show could only help the DCU, and these roles are perfect for The Boys' stars:
10 Jensen Ackles As Batman
The Boys Character: Soldier Boy
First up is Jensen Ackles. The actor has become the most popular candidate to play the DCU's Batman. Ackles has revealed that he would love to play Bruce Wayne in live-action. The actor plays Soldier Boy in The Boys, showing he can play powerful characters with a darker edge. In Supernatural, he played a more similar character to Batman, with Dean Winchester also being a tortured hero with a tragic childhood.

I’m Convinced Jensen Ackles Is Perfect For The DCU's Batman & Alexandra Daddario Is Perfect For The DCU's Wonder Woman For The Same 4 Very Simple Reasons
Jensen Ackles and Alexandra Daddario have become popular candidates for DCU Batman & Wonder Woman, and a few reasons make them perfect for the roles.
Ackles also has experience playing Batman, as he voiced the Dark Knight in multiple movies in DC's animated Tomorrowverse. At 47, I'm convinced Ackles fits the direction Batman's The Brave and the Bold movie will take. The film focuses on Bruce Wayne discovering his son, Damian, and the two getting close. The Bat-Family will also appear in the movie, making an older actor like Ackles perfect for Batman.
9 Jeffrey Dean Morgan As Deathstroke
The Boys Character: Joe Kessler
Jeffrey Dean Morgan already has live-action experience with DC in multiple roles. The actor worked with director Zack Snyder on two different movies. Their first team-up was in Watchmen, where Morgan was perfect as the problematic Comedian. Then, he played Batman's father, Thomas Wayne, in the DCEU. I think that the actor has shown he has the talent for a bigger superhero role than playing characters who get killed without doing much.
In The Walking Dead universe, as Negan, Morgan proved he can give life to some of DC's biggest villains.
In The Boys, Jeffrey Dean Morgan played Joe Kessler, a role that allowed him to flex his charm and ability to play darker characters. In The Walking Dead universe, as Negan, Morgan proved he can give life to some of DC's biggest villains. I'm convinced that his perfect DCu role would be Deathstroke, as Slade Wilson should be on the older side with a powerhouse actor who can make him scary and nuanced.
8 Claudia Doumit As Talia Al Ghul
The Boys Character: Victoria Neuman
Claudia Doumit has become the most popular fancast for the DCU's Talia al Ghul. While the character has yet to be announced for the franchise, since Talia is Damian's mother and he will be the focus of Batman's The Brave and the Bold movie, I guess it is safe to say that Talia will have a presence in the film. The Boys showed how Doumit is perfect for Talia.
Like Ra's al Ghul's daughter, The Boys' Victoria Neuman is a formidable character who has the power to defend herself and bring her wrath to her enemies. Neuman and Talia are characters who you do not want to cross. Doumit's performance in The Boys is nuanced, making Neuman a villain you hate in one moment and empathize with in the next, which is perfect for Talia and her relationship with Bruce.
7 Chace Crawford As Booster Gold
The Boys Character: The Deep
Chace Crawford as Booster Gold is one of my favorite fancasts for the DCU, be it counting The Boys' cast or not. As the Deep in The Boys, Crawford has shown that he can easily take a comedic relief role and make it a scene-stealer. Booster Gold is goofy on the outside, with many downplaying the character due to his comedic persona. However, there is more to him.
Antony Starr, The Boys' Homelander actor, was rumored for Booster Gold but shot down the speculation.
Booster Gold comes to the past to be a hero since his shot at a good future was destroyed by his father and bad decisions. The Deep might be a hilarious character used mostly for laughs in The Boys, but even though he is not a good person, Crawford's performance makes it impossible not to empathize with him on some level. Booster Gold needs an actor like him, who can make the comedic moments shine and then subvert expectations with a deep emotional punch.
6 Jack Quaid As The Flash
The Boys Character: Hughie Campbell
The Boys' main star, Jack Quaid, would also be perfect for James Gunn's DCU. In fact, the actor has already tried to be part of the franchise. Quaid auditioned for the role of Superman, but he never got far into the casting process, with David Corenswet becoming the DCU's Man of Steel instead. Quaid might not play a superhero in The Boys, but he voices Clark Kent in My Adventures with Superman.
In the two superhero series, Quaid showcases his talents to play a determined hero with a good heart like Barry Allen. Hughie dabbles in the comedic field where Ezra Miller's Flash existed. However, Quaid's The Boys character has also shown how the actor excels at more serious moments, making him a great choice to balance Barry Allen's different sides, making him a fun hero who can get the job done.
5 Erin Moriarty As Zatanna
The Boys Character: Starlight
Erin Moriarty gives life to one of the most important heroes in The Boys. Starlight is key to the plot, as she is the member of The Seven who turns against the other Supes and secretly teams up with Hughie and Butcher's crew. I loved how we got to watch Starlight grow throughout the seasons, going from a naive hero to a character more in control of her powers, feelings, and mission.
The most recent version of the character makes me think Moriarty has it in her to play the DCU's Zatanna. The heroine needs to be properly explored in live-action, something DC's movies have yet to do. Zatanna would allow Moriarty to tap into Starlight's newfound confidence and add a new flair to her performance, as seen when Moriarty portrayed a character who was impersonating Annie. Zatanna is more fun-loving than Starlight, and I think the actress can pull that off well.
4 Karl Urban As Kilowog
The Boys Character: Billy Butcher
Karl Urban, The Boys' Billy Butcher, is an actor who is no stranger to superhero movies or huge franchises. Urban played Skurge in the MCU, with the character being a villain in Thor: Ragnarok, siding with Hela before sacrificing himself against her forces. Butcher is one of The Boys' most popular characters, with the role allowing Urban to show just how great he is at playing characters who weaponize sarcasm.
The DCU would do well to cast him as Kilowog, expanding its Green Lantern Corps with the character known for training many Lanterns. Kilowog is tough on the outside, but he is fiercely loyal to his friends and has come to be known for sarcastic remarks on and off again. Butcher and the Green Lantern share some aspects in common, and I believe Urban could make the brute with a heart a compelling DCU player.
3 Giancarlo Esposito As Hugo Strange
The Boys Character: Stan Edgar
Giancarlo Esposito is another The Boys actor with plenty of experience in major franchises. The actor has played some impressive villains in franchises like the MCU, Star Wars, and more. While I think there could be an impressive hero performance waiting to happen when it comes to Esposito, I can't help but think his best possible DCU role would be that of a villain and not the one he wants to play.

Braking Bad |
Moff Gideon |
Star Wars |
Sidewinder |

Stan Edgar |
The Boys |
Esposito wants to be the DCU's Mr. Freeze. While that would be a fantastic choice, I think there is an even better Batman villain for Esposito to play. In The Boys as Stan Edgar and other roles, Esposito has shown that he is perfect for manipulative villains who operate in the shadows, being better in those roles than a more physical threat like Sidewinder in Captain America: Brave New World. As such, Hugo Strange, known for his deranged experiments and genius-level intellect, is perfect for Esposito.
2 Karen Fukuhara As Katana
The Boys Character: Kimiko
This is a special case, as The Boys' Kimiko actress Karen Fukuhara has already played Katana in live-action. Fukuhara was in the DCEU as part of 2016's Suicide Squad. While some elements from the movie became canon in Gunn's The Suicide Squad, Katana was not brought back. I would love to see Fukuhara have the chance to finally get a meatier role as Katana.
Sadly, with many changes, Suicide Squad was never able to do right by the character. The Boys shows how the actress is perfect for a loyal and ruthless hero. Kimiko fights viciously to defend her friends. Katana could be explored in the new DCU. Be it through a new version of the Suicide Squad or elsewhere, I'm sure Fukuhara could make Katana popular if given a bigger role in a good project this time around.
1 Antony Starr As Reverse-Flash
The Boys Character: Homelander
Finally, The Boys would not be the major success that it has become without Antony Starr's performance as Homelander. The actor shows in the superhero series that he has what it takes to play some truly frightening villains with intriguing layers. Sure, Homelander is ruthless and deranged, but there is a tragic backstory behind him, and it allows Starr to play the character as violent or as human as needed.
Starr's Homelander is the perfect showcase of just how formidable his Reverse-Flash could be. Eobard Thawne will stop at nothing to make the Flash's life as miserable as it can be. Reverse-Flash is a sadistic villain with complete disregard for human life. Well, that makes Starr perfect for the DC villain, as Homelander fits the bill and shows how the actor delivers magnetic performances as villains, which would make The Boys' Starr a DCU fan-favorite.
