Whether it be Robin wielding a katana, Batman balancing a love life, or Flash messing around with time, the DCAMU is filled with unique treats for fans that have rarely been seen outside of DC comics. This series of animated movies will have DC fans on the edge of their seats and wanting more (from the first movie in the series, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, until the epic finale, Justice League Dark: Apokalips War). Yet these films seem underappreciated at best.
This is quite a shame considering their is plenty of amazing elements that fans of DC will go crazy for! These 10 scenes from the DCAMU will have fans rushing to buy an HBO Go subscription where they can easily binge all 16 DCAMU films.
Batman Takes Robin To School
Damian Wayne, the holder of the mantle of Robin and biological son of Batman, doesn't literally get taken to school by Batman, but they do fight! Talon, in the DCAMU film Batman vs. Robin, is manipulating Damian's feelings towards Batman as he struggles to live up to Batman's standards.
This results in a brutal battle between two master martial artists, and they don't go easy on each other. The relationship between Batman and Robin drives this scene, as the epic clash ends with the assassin turned superhero looming over The Dark Knight, with Batman yelling "If this is what you want, then do it!"
Beast Boy Dance Battle
While Beast Boy boasts one of the most creative fighting styles of any DC Hero making his fights fun and satisfying to watch, his true value comes in the form of his quirky and confident nature that can lure even the hardest of heroes out of their shells. In the film Teen Titans Vs. The Justice League, Starfire decides that a night out at a carnival will help bring the Teen Titans together.
This is an experience completely foreign to Damian Wayne, the newest member of the Titans. Luckily, Beast Boy and his fancy footwork provide Robin with the one thing he can't resist - a challenge. Fans will melt as The Boy Wonder battles Beast Boy on stage in a dance competition as he strives to be more than the assassin he was trained to be.
Nightwing Pops The Big Question
Fans of the animated television show Teen Titans may have felt unfulfilled by the romance between Robin and Starfire that never progressed further than a kiss. Luckily for fans, Nightwing, the original Robin, has decided to work with the Titans to bring down HIVE in Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. However, his agenda is not completely focused on this evil organization.
As the Titans infiltrate a HIVE base, Nightwing tells Starfire that he's been thinking about something as of late. He mistimes his little plot slightly and, as the entire team s him and Starfire in the control room, he pulls out a fancy-looking box and officially asks Starfire an important question to the surprise of the Titans.
Robin and Raven
While Starfire and Robin may have been the main romantic focus in the animated series Teen Titans, there will always be those who thought Robin and Raven worked much better together.

In Justice League Dark: Apokalips War, Damian Wayne, as Robin, not only has all the darker traits that made fans yearned for a Robin/Raven relationship, he also has the guts to pursue. In an amazing scene, the young assassin turned superhero, brimming with all the awkwardness of teen love, finally its his feelings for Raven (which she returns too).
Batman Scares Death
Batman, to the hero's dismay, has entered the world of magic and demons in Justice League Dark, (yet his reputation precedes him). As Batman and other heroes approach one of John Constantine's former s, they discover that shrouds await outside the man's door.
These grim reaper-like beings literally collect souls for hell and surround an unseeing Batman, ranting about how often Batman has eluded their grasp. Batman, with one satisfyingly gruff and monotoned "boo," scatters the shrouds. This scene is hilarious and satisfying as DC proves that even Batman can scare death.
Hints At A Superman And Wonder Woman Romance
This scene is wonderful in so many ways. Darkseid has just sent his initial force of parademons through the mother boxes to attack Earth in Justice League: War and one of their targets is none other than the president of the United States. Although Wonder Woman quickly comes to the president's aid, killing parademons left and right, the plane they are all on is still plummeting to the ground (until Superman enters the fray).
After a bloody battle the Amazonian Princess and Superman lock eyes as The Man of Steel states "You're strong." to which Wonder Woman replies, with a mischievous grin, "I know." The sexual tension contained within their gaze will quickly have fans asking... what about Lois??
Superman Saves A Kid
The DCAMU presents a much more human side of Superman than many DC fans are used to seeing, and it is very refreshing. This fact is driven home as Superman, the last Justice League member left standing, gives his all in a fight against Doomsday in The Death of Superman.

Even against Superman's best efforts, Doomsday is winning, yet The Man of Steel manages to trap the monster, finally gaining a slight advantage in the fight. What does Superman do with this advantage? Well, he saves a young kid from being crushed by debris and even takes the time to tell the kid that everything is going to be okay for which he receives a surprise hug from the boy. This scene will melt any fan's heart and reminds fans of just how amazing Superman's character is.
Green Lantern Gets Demolished
Green Lantern, unfortunately, doesn't get a movie dedicated to him in the DCAMU, but he does make appearances. In Justice League: War, Hal Jordan and Batman plan on confronting Superman about the alien attackers (since Superman is an alien himself). Yet, in a brilliant show of arrogance, Hal traps Batman with his ring and attempts to battle Superman.
In a hilarious scene, an unsurprised Batman watches as Green Lantern is quickly demolished by The Man of Steel just before Superman turns his gaze on Batman. The scene quickly evolves into a three-way fight that is more than satisfying.
The True Depth of Batman's Character
One of the greatest draws for fans of Batman is the indomitable spirit of Bruce Wayne and his refusal to kill no matter the circumstance. In Batman Hush, Batman is pushed to the very lengths of his willpower as Hush attempts to destroy everything that Batman loves. Yet, in a heart-wrenching scene, Batman is willing to sacrifice his very life in order to save the villain from falling to his death.
Catwoman, who has fallen in love with Batman, attempts to persuade Bruce to let the villain die, yet he refuses, forcing her to take matters into her own hands. He later expresses to Catwoman that the villain didn't have to die, that if someone is able to be saved, he must save them, even if it means losing his life.
The Joker Re-Imagined
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradaox is the first movie in the series that sets into motion the new DC universe. Before that reset occurs, however, it turns out that Flash has already reset time in some fairly horrible ways. As Flash's memories realign to the new timeline, and fans get to see a different take on Batman's origin story, where Bruce is the one shot in an alley and his father becomes the Batman.
Yet, Thomas Wayne isn't the only one to survive the night. As Thomas Wayne grieves for his son, the viewers are left with a haunting image of Bruce's mother, her son's blood smeared across her mouth, laughing uncontrollably. DC fans will be surprised at the monsters this world can create.
