Psychopaths are human bosses you can find and beat in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster to progress cases and get powerful new gear. These opponents are people who've gone insane from the stress of the zombie outbreak, attacking you and sometimes keeping other survivors hostage. You need to take down some Psychopaths to move the story forward, but some can only be encountered at specific times.
Some of the Endings in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster are tied to solving every Scoop case in the game. The "True Ending" can only be reached in Overtime mode, a continuation of the 72-hour mode story you can only achieve by completing all cases. To do this, you need to know how to find certain Psychopaths fast, and how to take them down quickly before moving on to another one.
Where To Find Every Psychopath
Search The Right Place At The Right Time
Around 15 Psychopaths total are in the game, with many being familiar to those who played the original Dead Rising. These bosses are found in specific locations around the Mall, but can only be encountered at specific times. For example, one Psychopath may only show up in one spot during Day 1, and cannot be seen if you miss them going into Day 2.

How To Unlock Infinity Mode In Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
Infinity Mode in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster challenges you to have Frank survive for as long as possible, but you must unlock this mode first.
Some Psychopaths are met multiple times throughout 72-hour mode in different cases, meaning you'll have to fight them more than once. Not every Psychopath is a mandatory fight, so some could be considered a hindrance if you are behind in a case or two. Since some Psychos only appear for a limited time, you need to plan for the order in which you go after these deranged survivors.
Most Psychopaths have one or more Survivors being held hostage that you need to free. Only eight Survivors can be in the Mall at any time, with Psychopaths sometimes taking their place once they've been rescued.
Cases with Psychopaths have a higher chance of appearing when more Survivors have been moved out of the Mall. You can bring survivors you find while exploring to the Security Room to save them or kill them to free up space. However, you'll want to save Survivors more, as this can help make you stronger and reach better Endings in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster's ridiculous action.
Here are all the locations where Psychopaths spawn, what Survivors they've taken hostage, and what times you can find them during specific cases:

How To Beat Every Psychopath
Form Strategies Against Unique Weapons
Every Psychopath boss fight is different due to the various weapons each one wields. No new content to Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster has changed how these boss fights work, so fans of the original game may already be familiar with each battle. The Psychopaths you take on multiple times may have new gimmicks the second or third time you fight them, so be ready to adapt to each enemy.
Some fights may just be a shootout where you have to adjust to the unique firearm a Psychopath uses. For example, Cletus Samson uses a close-range shotgun that you can dodge shots from by hiding behind displays in the Gun Shop. Some bosses you'll have to chase, while others will force you to dodge to avoid the contraptions they've made to survive the undead outbreak.
One Psychopath boss fight against Paul Carson has you save him by putting out the fire he starts with a Fire Extinguisher. Doing this allows you to get Molotov Cocktails as a reward for rescuing this Psychopath from himself.
You need to use the environments of each boss fight to gain the upper hand or recuperate, as you can see in the above video by YouTube creator Shirrako. Not every arena you encounter a Psychopath in is a large one, so you'll have to make do with the situations you find yourself in. Depending on the resources you have, some fights may be incredibly easy, while others are much harder to complete.
Find ways to stun Psychopaths and keep track of where they are at all times to keep your guard up at all times. Some Psychopaths use vents to disappear and reappear, some use sniper rifles, and others will use shopping carts decorated with blades. As long as you stay cautious and use every object in a boss arena to help, you should be able to take out every Psychopath with relative ease.
Every Reward From Beating Psychopath Bosses
Gain New Weapons And Tools
While not every Psychopath you defeat will drop an item, you do get access to better weapons through many of these bosses. Stronger firearms allow you to defeat zombies faster, or have better tools against other Psychopaths you come across. Having better gear will help you move through cases faster, allowing you to reach the best Ending despite Dead Rising's limited time between Days.

10 Best Forgotten Capcom Franchises That Need A Revival
Whether it's Final Fight, Dino Crisis, or Dead Rising, Capcom should give some of its classic series the revival they deserve.
After you defeat these specific Psychopaths, you will receive these rewards:
- Prisoners - Humvee (vehicle), Heavy Machine Gun (weapon)
- Adam the Clown - Small Chainsaw (weapon)
- Steve Chapman - Weapon Cart (weapon)
- Isabela Keyes - Motorcycle (vehicle)
- Cliff Hudson - Machete (weapon)
- Sean Keanan - Ceremonial Sword (weapon), Brainwashing Tips (Book)
- Hall Family - 3x Sniper Rifle (weapon)
- Kent Swanson - Camera 2 (Book)
- Larry Chiang - Meat Cleaver (weapon)
- Paul Carson - Molotov Cocktail (weapon)
Most of the weapons you receive will permanently respawn even if you lose them, so don't worry about each being one-of-a-kind. Once you find every Psychopath's location in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, you should take time to prepare to beat them to get their equipment without too hard of a fight.
