The first round of Deadpool & Wolverine reactions have arrived as critics give their early thoughts on the the current Marvel timeline, with Deadpool & Wolverine exploring his exit from 20th Century Fox's X-Men universe. Screen Rant's Molly Freeman mentioned how she "haven’t heard that many people cheering and reacting in a movie—not just a Marvel move, but ANY movie—since Endgame," praising how it works "for every kind of MCU fan, from casual to diehard," while also sharing love for Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's screen presence, calling it "PERFECT."

Screen Rant's Tatiana Hullender shared that "between all the quips, F-bombs, and blood baths," Deadpool & Wolverine is definitely pulling the emotional heartstrings, praising Reynolds and Jackman for "understanding what a millennial like me loved about the 20th Century Fox universe."
