Warning: Contains spoilers for Deadpool #10!!
the most powerful healing factors in the Marvel Universe. Like Wolverine, Wade Wilson can recover from nearly anything thrown his way, from bullet holes to severed limbs. Yet his latest death and resurrection changed all of that, and while his healing factor isn't completely shot, it is weakened enough to significantly change his fighting style.
In Deadpool #10 – written by Cody Ziglar, with art by Rogê Antônio – Deadpool and his daughter Ellie are still in recovery following their respective resurrections. Wade found himself on the wrong side of the mortal coil thanks to the villain Death Grip, but his ever-devoted daughter chased him into the afterlife and brought him back.
Their resurrections came at a mighty cost, however, cutting their healing factors in half. For Deadpool, that means losing the ability to heal from extreme injuries like "growing back arms and legs," making him vulnerable even to standard wounds, marking a huge change for the character.
Deadpool’s Healing Factor Is Severely Weakened, In A Major Change For Marvel's Most Indestructible Character
Deadpool #10 – Written By Cody Ziglar; Art By Rogê Antônio; Color By Guru-eFX; Lettering By Joe Sabino
Deadpool is no stranger to death, and he's certainly familiar with enduring some of Marvel's most shocking injuries, but that's all grinding to a halt after his resurrection. Although Ellie successfully brought her father back to life, it left both of them weaker than before. Wade notes he's still healing the wounds from days earlier, and even sports new scars as a result, which all adds up to a huge inconvenience for someone whose life revolves around using his body as both a weapon and shield. Similarly, Ellie's healing factor, already weaker than his fathers, leaves her even more vulnerable.
Considering how recklessly Deadpool operates, it is guaranteed he'll be confronting his diminished healing factor soon.
Cutting Deadpool's healing factor down by 50% still means he can recover faster and from more grievous wounds than the average person, but it's nowhere near what he needs to operate as the merc with a mouth. Taskmaster even resorts to using rubber bullets during their training session, since Wade can't exactly take a regular shot to the skull and keep going anymore. If something is capable of instantly killing him, then it would possibly finally be able to do that. Considering how recklessly Deadpool operates, it is guaranteed he'll be confronting his diminished healing factor soon.
Deadpool Needs An All-New Combat Style To Match His Diminished Healing Factor
Deadpool & His Daughter Are At A Crossroads
It's unlikely that Deadpool will be bowing out of the mercenary scene, but he can't continue to take every hit. Taskmaster, aware that changes need to be made, has already thrown Wade and Ellie into the deep end to learn how to fight without turning themselves into living targets. Although he's already one of Marvel's most skilled fighters, losing his healing factor could prompt Wade to hone his talents even further to continue with his business and, of course, keep his daughter safe. Deadpool currently only has half his healing factor, forcing Wade Wilson to adapt, or die for good.

Is Deadpool's Healing Factor Unbeatable? Not If Marvel's Newest Weapon Is Around.
Deadpool's healing factor basically makes him unkillable, but Marvel Comics just revealed the latest weapon that can easily beat his healing factor.
