The combination hero of Wolverine had one of Marvel's coolest costumes, as Wolverinepool kept some of the best design elements from both heroes during his brief appearances in the comics. While the Earth-1946 version of Wade Wilson, bonded with adamantium to his skeleton like Wolverine, would only appear briefly in the pages of Marvel Comics, the combo character made quite an impression simply based on his appearance.
Deadpool and Wolverine have two different approaches to being a hero: Wade Wilson is a wise-cracking motor-mouth who routinely gets under the skin of his fellow Marvel Comics heroes. At the same time, Logan is more reserved and lets his claws do the talking. However, the two popular characters have much in common. They're both products of the Weapon X program and have healing factors that keep them alive in pretty much any deadly situation. While the characters have sparred in the comics, Deadpool and Wolverine became true rivals in the Deadpool live-action films, where Ryan Reynolds' version of the Merc with the Mouth regularly makes meta-jokes about Hugh Jackman and the clawed X-Men.
Wolverinepool comes from the minds of Fabian Nicieza and Reilly Brown, as the combination of Logan and Deadpool first appeared in Cable & Deadpool #46 from Marvel Comics. After appearing in a time-traveling adventure, Wolverinepool returned for the Deadpool Kills Deadpool miniseries, working under the villainous Dreadpool to stop the Deadpool Corps. Armed with super long claws and a costume that combined Wolverine and Deadpool's most classic looks, Wolverinepool's emerged as one of the best-looking variants for either hero.
While Wolverinepool would be horrifically turned into nothing but a skeleton and claws after Deadpool unleashed a bug-bomb that devoured his flesh, the combination hero went down looking great. The red costume, with the long black mask, pointed boots, and long claws, made for a stellar-looking character, even if the creative team never intended Wolverinepool to be more than a joke character. Wolverinepool could return in future comics, as his healing factor (which seems weaker than Wolverine's and Deadpool's) could be the answer to bringing him back to life. But, as of now, he will likely live in comic obscurity for the foreseeable future.
Seeing Deadpool and Wolverine's reaction to Wolverinepool would make for a fun, meta comic book story, as they'd no doubt be surprised with the combination character and how he pulled the best elements from each of their's costume and powers to become his own hero. Wolverinepool remains a very odd creation from Marvel's massive Multiverse, but there's little denying how fantastic the Wolverine and Deadpool combination hero's costume is.
