Beyond Light is scheduled to release on November 10th, 2020, and will be the fifth expansion for Destiny 2. Players will work with the mysterious Exo Stranger to harness the dark power of Stasis before Eramis, the Kell of Darkness has the chance to use this power for control on her forces. Each new Destiny expansion comes along with story bits to explore, new levels and areas to scavenge, and new loot to equip, making players stronger than ever. The Destiny franchise changed a lot of what we know about the gaming space today. Originally developed by Bungie, the developers behind the original Halo titles, Destiny 2 is now a free-to-play online multiplayer shooter. While a major criticism about the first Destiny was the lack of story content, Destiny 2 came out the door swinging with a more robust story for players to get their hands dirty with. Titles are essentially what players will find underneath their names while playing the game. These are completely visible to other players and will say a lot about a player's skill in the game moving forward. Although, the MMXX title is the end-all-be-all of the titles, basically citing that the player has completed all of the major accomplishments throughout Destiny 2 for the year. Clearing through all of these titles will give players a substantial amount of content to play through.
Complete The Prophecy Dungeon in Destiny 2
While the Prophecy Dungeon is one that is required to unlock the MMXX title, it is still a fun time with friends regardless of title completion. It is one of the best Destiny 2 dungeons out there right now. The dungeon will be put away for a while since many of its assets are disappearing at the end of the season. Make sure to give it a try before it goes away for good.
Play Content Before It's Removed For Good In Destiny 2
Many areas and locations are being vaulted once the season ends. This includes areas like Mercury, Titan, and Mars. Make sure to tackle these areas before the season concludes to experience them. Not only that, but all of the loot in these locations are either being removed as well or being distributed in new areas within the Beyond Light DLC. It's important to make the most out of your game before it changes for good.
Beyond Light is likely not the final expansion for the game. Hopefully, when all of the expansions finally release, the game can come out again with all of them included. The Beyond Light expansion alone is clocking in at $39.99 USD, making it a pretty hefty investment for new content. Regardless, long time fans are excited to have new content to explore in Destiny 2 this November.
