The Dexter sequel series Dexter: Resurrection is the franchise's second sequel series following the controversial conclusion of Dexter (2006-2013) after eight seasons. The series will be created by New Blood and Original Sin showrunner Clyde Phillips and is expected to be released on Paramount+ with Showtime in the summer of 2025.

News that New Blood's ending left off after Original Sin revealed that Dexter has survived the gunshot from Harrison.

Michael C. Hall As Dexter Morgan

Jack Alcott As Harrison Morgan

Actor: Jack Alcott, 25, is an American actor from Franklin, Tennessee. As a young rising actor, Alcott currently only has a few film and television credits to his name. After starring in a slate of short films during the 2010s, Alcott made his TV debut in an episode of When the Streetlights Go On in 2017 before rising to prominence in a 2020 episode of The Blacklist.

This led Alcott to appear in the Showtime Western miniseries The Good Lord Bird in 2020 and land the role of Harrison Morgan in Dexter: New Blood the following year.
