The Dexter sequel series Dexter: Resurrection is the franchise's second sequel series following the controversial conclusion of Dexter (2006-2013) after eight seasons. The series will be created by New Blood and Original Sin showrunner Clyde Phillips and is expected to be released on Paramount+ with Showtime in the summer of 2025.

News that New Blood's ending left off after Original Sin revealed that Dexter has survived the gunshot from Harrison.
