According to Deadline, Dinklage will appear in Dexter: Resurrection as Leon Prater, a suspicious billionaire venture capitalist. While an official synopsis for the series is under wraps, it has been confirmed that Prater, who appears philanthropic on the surface, will hide a sinister agenda; he is reported to be the "big baddy." Production first began in New York last month. ​​​​As executive producer and showrunner, Clyde Phillips leads the creative team, with the series produced by Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios. Marcos Siega, who directed various episodes of Dexter: New Blood, is on board as a producing director as well.
