Nintendo players could be able to play Diablo 4 on the Switch 2 console later this year if the most recent leaks are accurate. The game, which was unable to run on the current Nintendo hardware, is reportedly in development for the Nintendo Switch 2. Both Diablo 2 and 3 are already available for the Nintendo Switch, which sets a standard that helps corroborate the leakers reveal as something that is not beyond the realm of possibility.
As shared by Reddit IcePopsicleDragon, a popular and generally credible leaker, eXtas1s shared on their YouTube page several games which are reportedly coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 soon after its release.
Although leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt, there are many reasons to suspect that this could be accurate information, despite the lack of an official announcement. Particularly with other Diablo games already being on Nintendo hardware, and the history that eXtas1s has with supplying leaks that turn out to be real.
Credible Leaks Point Toward Diablo 4 Launching Onto The Switch 2
Earlier Versions Of Diablo Are Available On Nintendo Switch
The information from eXtas1s includes a list of multiple games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, such as Starfield, Fallout 4, Halo The Master Chief Collection, and more in addition to Diablo 4. Their source also includes a suspected timeframe showing that Diablo 4 will be available on the Switch 2 sometime in 2025. Although some of the claims were made with a bit of uncertainty, the Diablo 4 leak was given with more confidence.

Diablo 4 Season Of Witchcraft Brings A Plethora Of New Features And One Huge Change To The Paragon System
Diablo IV’s Season of Witchcraft introduces dark magic, challenging demons, fresh lore, and a revamped Paragon system for dynamic gameplay.
Since Microsoft's acquisition of Diablo 4's developer, Blizzard Entertainment, there have been more games being ported to other systems. Until there is an official announcement, nothing is guaranteed, but eXtas1s has been known to give accurate leaks in the past. Generally, the eXputer writer, eXtas1s, provides leaks that relate to early reveals of Game titles and changes.
Nintendo Switch 2 Leaks Are Popping Up Everywhere
Not All Are Accurate
Ever since the official reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2, and even before it, there have been numerous leaks and rumors circulating regarding both the software and lists of games that will make up the library at the Switch 2's release. It can be exciting to make guesses and hypothesize things that will happen, but it is important to that not all supposed leaks are real. Looking at the reliability of the leaker can help, but even then, things should be considered as rumor only until official announcements have been made.
In this case, it certainly does seem plausible for Diablo 4 to be in development for the Nintendo console, and eXtas1s does have a track record of correct information. Whether it will happen in 2025 is still yet to be determined, as the Switch 2 does not even have a specific release date yet. More information on the Switch 2 will be coming in April, which hopefully will include not only a release date but some official announcements for games that will be launching alongside it, which could very well include Diablo 4 in the mix.
