In Digimon, the DigiDestined are a group of heroes who keep the balance between the real world and the digital one, with their monster pals being steadfast partners both in the field as warriors and off it as life-long friends. In a pair of new cosplay posts, two of Digimon’s most iconic DigiDestined, Mimi and Sora, finally get the live-action looks they deserve, with their Digimon, Palmon and Biyomon, making the jump into the real world along with them!

Shared on Instagram by both cosplayers — Taïr Hamou (@paper.moon.cosplay) as Mimi and Shani Cohen (@missnarcca) as Sora — these two talents have successfully adapted a pair of rarely cosplayed characters into something truly special.

Recently cosplaying as the X-Men’s Rogue, Elektra's Daredevil, Batgirl, Supergirl, and more, Taïr doesn’t mess around when creating these homemade looks, with each new design coming across just as professional as the last. Meanwhile, Shani is only starting on what could become a prolific cosplay journey, having previously dressed as the X-Men’s Jubilee to incredibly stellar results.
