There is also mention of live game services in the Sales and Monetization Specialist job posting, which could mean that Studio ZA/UM's next game will have online capabilities, whether that be PvP or something as simple as seeing the choices that other players make. Disco Elysium's successor will also most probably be built from the ground up in a new engine, as hinted at by job postings requiring experience in Unreal Engine 5 (Disco Elysium itself was built in Unity).
The possibilities are endless for Studio ZA/UM's new game, but the job postings on its site should help hone expectations in the meantime. News of potential space elements and a sci-fi focus is exciting, and while there's still probably a long time to go until more is shared about the next game from Disco Elysium's creators, these job listings provide encouraging news for what may be ahead.
