It's interesting to go back and think about favorite childhood television shows. They are often most focused on the characters' experiences throughout the school year, but Disney Channel would still release some new episodes during summer break. Even if it's impossible for fans to get away for vacation, perhaps some classic Disney Channel characters can offer their own.

Whether the ideal escape is a camp-out, a beach vacation, or a fun event, these episodes won't disappoint. They are collected from nearly two decades of original series. Enjoy ten totally Disney+.

Even Stevens: Surf's Up

"Surf's Up" is the ultimate summer episode from Even Stevens. The whole gang goes surfing in the final season. It's a great foreshadowing of the Stevens family's adventure in The Even Stevens Movie.

The beachy setting has Ren thinking her crush is a merman. Beans goes on a hunt for buried treasure. Best of all, Tom is wearing his sailor outfit! Head over to Disney+ and look for season three, episode 20.

Hannah Montana: Super(Stitious) Girl

Wizards On Deck With Hannah Montana Hannah, Lily, Justin, Alex, Max, Zack, Cody

Hannah Montana is a good pick for those who need the escape of Malibu scenery. Though most of the episodes focus on Miley balancing school days with Hannah nights, she does escape once in a while. One good example of this is Hannah Montana's second crossover episode, "Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana."

It is the twentieth episode of the third season and comes over two years after the first big crossover, "That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana." Miley/Hannah loses a lucky charm from her mom while aboard the S.S. Tipton. There are some heartfelt moments here, and it's fun to see Hannah set sail.

Girl Meets World: Girl Meets I Do

The wedding Disney Channel

There is nothing like watching a wedding during the summer. The tenth episode of Girl Meets World's third season is all about Shawn marrying Maya's mom, Katy. Cory and Topanga help the couple pull-off a gorgeous rooftop ceremony, complete with Mr. Feeny as the minister.

The flowers, the flowy pastel dresses, the tears--it's a sentimental moment for the Boy Meets World spin-off.

Jonas LA: House Party

Jonas is not regarded as Disney's finest sitcom, but the show did get a little more interesting when it became Jonas LA. Disney+ lumps the two projects together as Jonas, so scroll to season two, episode one.

The intro is worth the watch--the Jonas brothers descend upon their sprawling property--and the closing five minutes are golden as the boys take in the sights of their city with Macy and Stella. Who could forget that bop of a theme song, "LA Baby (Where Dreams Are Made Of)?"

Lizzie McGuire: Pool Party

Lizzie McGuire Young

Don't be fooled by the episode order. Season four, episode four of Lizzie McGuire is the original pilot. It feels a little different from the rest of the series, mainly because everyone looks so much younger and some of the sets are not the same. It is the only episode that the series creator, Terri Minsky, was heavily involved in, and it introduces the characters and premise that viewers are getting a look inside Lizzie's head.

School has already started, but she desperately wants to go to Danny Kessler's pool party, which doesn't happen. She still makes the obligatory summer tie-dye.

Phil of the Future: Virtu-Date

This second episode of season two is very creative. Phil and Keely go on a futuristic virtual date (using those goggles some people now know too well).

The robot disguised as a cute waiter flirts with Keely. Phil gets angry. Keely flirts back. The silly date is set on a tropical island complete with little umbrellas for the coconut drinks. The episode fits the zany tone of the show, and it offers some relaxing scenery.

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: Hotel Hangout

The Suite Life

The early days of The Suite Life were the best. The season one opener on Disney+ reminds viewers what it is like when the twins become popular just because they live in a hotel. The whole show is kind of a giant vacation in that respect, so it's hard for Cody and Zack to stay grounded sometimes.

They make some poor decisions and diss two of their less popular friends at the pool. Thankfully, the boys learn from their mistake, and everyone enjoys the Tipton together in the end.

That's So Raven: To See or Not to See

Raven in That's So Raven

fun watch for the summer. This episode is included because of a special scene Raven shares with her grandma, who is also psychic.

Although Raven isn't on summer vacation, she and her grandma have pitched a tent in the living room and are roasting marshmallows over a light bulb while they have a heart-to-heart. It's the ultimate cozy camping picture. This is the final episode of season one.

Wizards of Waverly Place: Quinceanera

It's quinceanera time for Alex Russo on Wizards of Waverly Place. Season one, episode 20 is a great summer pick. Alex gets a gorgeous pink poofy dress, but it's really her mom's vision.

The two butt heads and are forced to try and understand each other when they switch bodies. Everyone is dressed to the nines, especially Harper, as usual.

Good Luck Charlie: Sun Show

Good Luck Charlie had some nice symmetry with the two-part Snow Show in season one and Sun Show in season two (episodes 18 and 19).

The Duncans go on a family vacation to Hawaii as part of Bob and Amy's twentieth anniversary. It starts out with fun in the sun, but the family stumbles upon some bad luck, including losing Charlie. It's not the best episode by any count, but certainly one of the sunniest.
