Tiana's friendship in Disney Dreamlight Valley provides an excellent culinary quest line for players to follow in the newest Dapper Delights update. Partake in a competition that will elevate your hero and your Village's taste buds all from Tiana's Palace and Chez Remy. Once the winner has been chosen, that Disney character through their interaction with Tiana will be featured in your Village for their culinary efforts.

Before starting the Dreamlight Gastronomy quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, make sure to unlock Tiana. This includes the prerequisites of unlocking Moana, Chez Remy, and Milk as well as upgrading Goofy's Stall in the Glade of Trust so you can buy onions and rice. To take on this quest line specifically, you will also need to have Tiana at her friendship level of seven by hanging out with her in the game. Building trust with Tiana can be done by giving her gifts, speaking to her, completing daily tasks, and playing Scramblecoin.

The Culinary Competitors

The initial interaction with Tiana to begin the Dreamlight Gastronomy quest will have Tiana ask you to invite some villagers for a cooking competition. She is very ionate about cooking and wants to help foster that love of cooking with others. Not all characters will agree to participate, but you must reach out to every one of them. Shortly after, three of them will show up to Remy's house for the competition.

A Quick Demonstration

Time To Show off Your Skills

Shortly after everyone arrives, Tiana wastes no time in teaching her competitors how she wants the food prepared for the competition. She relies on her new friend, who is your hero who can make 5-star dishes, to demonstrate how to prepare ingredients. She wants you to wash and chop vegetables and to do that you will first go to the barrels and plates of ingredients in Remy's home. Use your Royal Pickaxe on the barrels to collect and chop the Potatoes and Corn. Then take out your Royal Watering Can to wash the herbs on the plates.

Catch And Cook Of The Day

Dishing Up Some Seafood

The dish everyone is making together will also require you to catch and cook seafood in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This will require you to go fishing for two of each of the items listed, which are: Shrimp, Lobster, and Crab.

Fishing for these items will require you to go to different spots around the Valley and should not be that hard. Bring all the ingredients to Tiana, who will then start a Seafood Boil that everyone will cook together. You may consume the Seafood Boil which will restore a large amount of your energy.

Creating A Menu

Let's Get To Crafting

As everyone from the competition begins to cook their signature dish, Tiana will ask you to create a menu called a Sandwich Board. It will display the winning dish right outside of Tiana's Palace in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Go to a nearby crafting workbench to find the Sandwich Board under the section "Functional Items". You will need 15 Stones, 20 Hardwood, 5 Eggs, and 10 Wheat to complete it. These items can be found all over the Valley and have usually been stockpiled in your inventory by now. If you do not have any Eggs, you can purchase them from Chez Remy for 220 Star Coins each. YouTuber Bazzy also demonstrates how to find these items in order to make the Sandwich Board quickly.

The Winning Dish

Nearing the end of the Disney Dreamlight Valley Gastronomy Quest, Tiana will ask you to judge each meal. All three participants will make signature New Orleans dishes for you to choose from. Tiana will be so impressed that she will ask you to take a picture with all of them. Shortly after, you will need to taste each meal and talk to all the participants about their successes while cooking. Once a winner is selected, Tiana will feature them on her Sandwich Board outside of her restaurant to congratulate them on their victory, which will finish the Dreamlight Gastronomy Quest.
