For a cozy and relaxing game, sometimes Disney Dreamlight Valley can have quests that become incredibly frustrating. Most of the time, these missions can require talking to another villager, catching a certain fish, crafting furniture or other tasks that are pretty manageable. While it can take a while to get just the right fish on the hook or to gather the necessary materials for crafting items, they generally don't take all that long to complete.
Unfortunately, there is one quest that has given many players some trouble. Reddit Pleasant-March-5073 recently posted their success in finally completing the Toy Story quest to find all the Little Green Men hidden in the valley.
In their post, Pleasant-March-5073 states that it took them two years and four days to find the last of the 25 alien toys, with that date referencing when the Toy Story characters and quests were added to DDV. They even attempted different tricks of emptying their lands of decorations, turning off music, and other tips that had been found online for finishing the quest. Finally, while redecorating Frosted Heights, the final toy appeared.
Little Green Men Can Be Trouble In Disney Dreamlight Valley
From The Quest "Collect 'Em All: Little Green Men"
By the nature of the quest, it will take players at least a couple of days to find all the green men for Buzz Lightyear's "Collect 'Em All: Little Green Men" mission. Unlike Woody's similar quest to find a few of the alien toys, Buzz's has no hints provided by any NPCs and only eight or nine of the 25 green men will appear at random locations in a day. These toys can appear anywhere in the valley.
For some players, finding the Little Green Men was pretty simple, with the toys popping up in obvious places. However, many other players suffered similar fates as Pleasant-March-5073 and struggled to find them all. As Reddit poster bethadoodle024 comments, it's a Christmas miracle that the quest is finally complete.
Unfortunately, after this quest has been completed, that isn't the end of finding the Little Green Men, as Buzz will continue to give two additional quests regarding searching for the aliens, but these are considerably easier.
Our Take: Some Disney Dreamlight Valley Quests Are Frustrating
Personally, It Took Me Months
Although it didn't take me as long as it did for Pleasant-March-5073 or some other commenters on the Reddit post, I did struggle with finding these little friends for a couple of months. The problem comes from the nature of the quest being able to randomly generate them anywhere. This means that if one spawns in an inconvenient location, players may not find it. In my case, it was stuck behind the Fairy Godmother's pumpkin house, directly next to a bush that hid it perfectly.

"Help Me": Man Gets Into Disney Dreamlight Valley For His Wife, Doesn't Expect To Get Sucked Into It
When one man started playing Disney Dreamlight Valley for his wife, he didn't expect to get completely absorbed in it, turning into a "Disney adult."
DDV is a relaxing escape for many players who want to spend some time in the carefree virtual world surrounded by their Disney friends. Though most of the quests are pretty straightforward and simple, some of them can be more stressful than players would like at times. A secret quest to find emerald bottles has similarly left many players aggravated at the level of challenge. Although they are easily skipped over given the amount of content that Disney Dreamlight Valley has for its players, it can still be a bit frustrating.
