The next free update to Cheshire Cat in its 2025 roap, hinting that Alice and some of her friends would be coming to the cozy Disney game in the spring.

The time has now come for players to mark their calendars for the update, which is coming very soon. The Wonderland Whimsy free update will arrive in Dreamlight Valley on April 23, according to the Developer Update shared on the Disney Dreamlight Valley X. The Update also revealed information about the coming Star Path, quality-of-life updates, Star Wars content, and much more.

Unlock Two New Characters And Their Magical Quests

After teasing the Wonderland Whimsy update for the past few days, the free update is officially coming to the Valley in just over a week. The new content will take players down the rabbit hole, literally, as players fall into the Alice in Wonderland Realm, where they'll help Alice free the animals that the Queen of Hearts has imprisoned in her garden. This will involve making your way through the maze-like forest leading up to the gardens with the help of the Cheshire Cat, then stealthily avoiding the gaze of the Queen's guards.

Completing Alice's quest in her Realm will bring her to the Valley as a permanent resident. As you get closer to Alice, you'll unlock Friendship rewards like exclusive outfits and a celebration of your very own un-birthday party. The Cheshire Cat will also be arriving in the Valley, though he'll be more difficult to find wandering around the Valley. Instead, he'll make himself known through some "chaos," which players will have to investigate to reveal the mysterious cat's motives. Solving the Cheshire Cat's riddles will unlock him as a resident and allow players to invite him to live in the Valley.

Garden Of Whimsy Star Path Is Also Announced For Dreamlight Valley

Victorian- And Pixie-Themed Outfits And Decor

The Developer Update also announced the next Star Path in Dreamlight Valley, which was correctly identified by fans earlier this week to also be Wonderland-themed. The Garden of Whimsy Star Path will allow fans to earn whimsical rewards inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Disney's Frairies franchise.

Star Path rewards include Victorian- and pixie-inspired outfits, a tea-party setup, and other spring-themed content. The update also adds a new Minnie Dream Style featuring a cute spring outfit and a fluttering butterfly companion. Wonderland Whimsy will also mark the arrival of several much-requested quality-of-life updates like a recycling center, the option to add slots to chests, sub-grids for object placement, and more.

Star Wars-themed items are also arriving in the Shop along with the update so fans can dress in style for May the Fourth. All these exciting additions make this one free update to look forward to when it arrives on April 23 in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
