with the Reign of Jafar set later this year. In addition to continuing Lorcana’s ongoing narrative, Archazia’s Island is also set to introduce some exciting new Glimmers to the game, some for characters that have yet to appear in Lorcana.

Archazia’s Island will focus heavily on Disney’s pet characters, so fans of the media giant's many animal protagonists or sidekicks will likely be interested in this set. The set’s tagline, “learn new tricks,” also has players speculating that some new mechanics will be revealed in the set. Spoilers for new Lorcana cards usually come out closer to a set’s release, so anyone hungry for more information on Archazia’s Island should be paying attention to the set’s release dates to know when new reveals should be expected.

When Archazia's Island Releases In 2025

Archazia’s Island Will Be Released At Select Locations On March 7, 2025

Like previous Lorcana sets, Archazia’s Island has two distinct release dates. Lorcana sets are always released one to two weeks earlier at local game stores, Disney Stores, and Disney Parks. This is a good incentive for players to buy from local stores that help keep the game alive through organized play events. Archazia’s Island will initially be released on March 7, 2025, in these locations.

Disney Lorcana is an incredible trading card game, but it has one important lesson to learn from the Pokémon TCG if it wants to become number one.

Two weeks after the initial launch, Archazia’s Island will be available through mass-market retailers and on DisneyStore.com on March 21, 2025. This gives players who weren’t able to get any products from the initial release a second chance. It’s also nice for Lorcana players who may not live near a local game store or Disney Store, but don’t want to have to pay inflated prices on secondary markets like TCGPlayer.

Archazia's Island Prerelease & Preorder Info

Archazia’s Island Prerelease Events Vary Depending On The Venue

Disney Lorcana doesn’t have the same style of prerelease events that players have come to expect from other TCGs like Magic: The Gathering or the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Lorcana doesn’t really have a prerelease where products from a new set are made available before the release date since local game stores already get Lorcana products earlier than most retailers. Any “prerelease” events therefore happen after the set has actually been released in these stores, and are usually just called a prerelease because TCG players associate the term with a specific type of event.

Because Lorcana doesn’t have a formal structure for prerelease events, how they work varies from store to store. Some local stores will do a sealed tournament where players get six sealed booster packs of the latest set and use it to construct a 40-card deck. These types of events usually allow players to use any number of different ink colors in their deck, instead of the typical two that Lorcana decks are restricted to. Otherwise, it would be pretty hard to put together a playable deck just using booster packs.

Local game stores also typically offer pre-orders for new TCG sets, since it helps them decide how much product to get from their distributors.

Other stores opt to have a slightly more beginner-friendly model for their prereleases and provide participants with a starter deck and a select number of packs from the new set. This gives players a firm base to build around, instead of having to construct a deck from scratch. Starter decks haven’t been previewed yet for Archazia’s Island, but they are expected to be coming so this is a possibility for some prerelease events.

Although no official pre-orders have gone up for Archazia’s Island yet, the previous set, Azurite Sea, may be a good indication of how it will work. Azurite Sea had an exclusive online pre-order through Best Buy, according to Polygon. Keeping an eye on Best Buy listings for the game may therefore be a good idea in the coming months. Local game stores also typically offer pre-orders for new TCG sets, since it helps them decide how much product to get from their distributors. Just know that, when pre-ordering from an LGS, their allocation numbers can sometimes be unpredictable.

Confirmed Cards For Archazia's Island (So Far)

Only One Card Has Been Previewed So Far

Moana promo card from Disney Lorcana

As of right now, there is only one confirmed card for Archazia’s Island. Moana, Adventurer of Land and Sea was originally given out as a promo card alongside the release of Moana 2. The card has the set number for Archazia’s Island on the bottom, so it will likely appear in the set in some form, though it will probably have different artwork from the promo version. The card itself isn’t terribly exciting, just a high-willpower character with no effect that quests for one lore. This doesn’t really give many indications of what to expect from the set.

Pokémon TCG & Disney Lorcana Watch Out: League Of Legends' New TCG Looks Like It Could Be Real Competition

Riot Games recently announced their new LoL TCG Project K, but can it hope to compete against giants like Pokémon and Disney's Lorcana?

Although their cards and abilities haven’t been spoiled, there are a few Disney characters to expect on cards in the next set. The first is Bolt, who has been featured in the key art for Archazia’s Island. It was also recently announced that there will be cards featuring characters from Lady & The Tramp in the set. These previewed characters, and the set’s tagline about learning new tricks, make it seem as though the set is focusing largely on dog characters. That said, the set promises to include pets in general, so some other animal sidekicks may still be coming.

Confirmed Archazia's Island Products & Prices

Archazia’s Island Includes New Boosters, Accessories, And Starter Decks

One product that is always expected from a new Lorcana set is booster packs, but there are several ways to buy them. Individual boosters have an MSRP of $5.99, which can also be purchased in sealed boxes of 24 for $143.99. Unlike other TCGs, Lorcana isn’t usually sold at a discounted price when sold as an entire box. Players can also get eight booster packs of Archazia’s Island in the Illumineer’s Trove, which is $49.99 and comes with some additional accessories like dice.

Archazia’s Island will also feature a Gift Set for $29.99 which comes with a new Lilo & Stitch deck box, a promo version of Lilo, Escape Artist, and five random packs of Lorcana. It’s worth noting that, despite being branded as the Archazia’s Island Gift Set, the packs inside only range from sets two to six. Players who want cards from the new set might therefore consider skipping this product unless they are big Lilo & Stitch fans.

A pair of new deck boxes and matching sleeves will also be released alongside Archazia’s Island, one featuring Cinderella, Ballroom Sensation from Rise of the Floodborn, and the other Ursula, Deceiver of All from Into the Inklands. Deck boxes are $5.99 and sleeves are $9.99. There are also two new playmats with artwork from Azurite Sea for $19.99 each, one with art from We Could Be Immortals and the other Tigger, In the Crow’s Nest. Lorcana accessories tend to lag behind one or more sets, so any new artwork from Archazia’s Island may appear on future accessories.

Although no artwork has been shown for them, Archazia’s Island will also include new Starter Decks. According to Peachstate Hobby Distributor, the MSRP for these will be $16.99 per deck, or $135.99 for a display of eight decks. As of now, it isn’t clear how many unique decks there are in the set, though recent Disney Lorcana sets tend to just have two.
