Aggro decks are a great way to win Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter games, focusing on early-game power that grabs the lead and runs with it. As a new collectible trading card game, it's no surprise that Disney Lorcana currently features an emerging meta that highlights aggressive gameplay, as strong aggro decks are often the quickest and easiest to figure out. Control decks currently look promising as well, but it will likely take more time for control and ramp decks to be fully refined in a way that makes them as accessible as the best aggro options.

Disney Lorcana features six different ink types, each of which is designated by a unique color and offers its own focuses. Decks can be built out of any two inks, making the ink pairing chosen the biggest factor in building an effective aggro deck. Amber ink, in particular, features a number of essential cards for early-game power, making it a necessary component in the majority of effective aggro decks in Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter.

5 Amber/Ruby

Disney Lorcana Amber and Ruby symbols side-by-side.

Pairing Amber with Ruby ink unsurprisingly allows for some aggro plays, but it's a bit harder to work with than some other Amber combinations in Disney Lorcana. Moana: Of Motunui and Mulan: Imperial Soldier make for good core cards to build an Amber/Ruby aggro deck around. These two princesses feed into each other well, with Moana serving as a great way to generate lore and Mulan proving her mettle in challenges. The Goofy: Musketeer card also works as a great way to keep the heat off of Moana, thanks to his Bodyguard ability.

If Mulan goes on the attack and banishes an opponent's character, +1 lore will be added to the player's other characters for the turn. Questing with Moana, who already generated 3 lore by default, will receive a whopping 4 lore, and her We Can Fix It ability will allow Mulan to be readied again. Getting multiple of these cards in a game could prove especially devastating. Also key to an Amber/Ruby deck is including Lilo: Making a Wish, Stitch: New Dog, and Stitch: Rock Star, a powerful trio in Amber aggro decks that can start racking up lore very quickly, as well as the 2 cost Bodyguard Simba: Protective Cub.

4 Emerald/Ruby

Ruby has another interesting pairing for aggro decks with the Emerald/Ruby strategy, constituting the biggest exception to Amber's dominance in aggressive play. The Emerald/Ruby deck gains its viability due to the Evasive cards featured in both decks, which are significantly harder to take out of play than the average card. This pairing also makes use of one of the Disney Lorcana Starter Deck combinations, making it a bit easier to form a base for, although leaning into its aggro capabilities will still require some supplementation.

Peter Pan: Fearless Fighter is a good low-cost Evasive card, while Tigger: Wonderful Thing makes for an excellent, powerful one that requires more ink. Sergeant Tibbs: Courageous Cat and Minnie Mouse: Always Classy are helpful cards to get into play with only 1 cost, although the Emerald/Ruby pairing doesn't feature any 1 cost cards that can generate 2 lore, a weakness compared to other aggro options. Nonetheless, getting enough Evasive cards in play can make Emerald/Ruby a winning combination.

3 Amber/Steel

Songs play a big part in an Amber/Steel aggro deck, with the powerful Disney Lorcana cards Be Our Guest, A Whole New World, and Grab Your Sword all offering strong advantages in Disney Lorcana. Amber/Steel can also make use of Tinker Bell: Giant Fairy, which has serious powers for damage and combos. Her Shift 4 ability lets her get into play a little earlier than her standard 6 cost, a crucial edge for an aggro deck that can be utilized by including some Tinker Bell: Tiny Tactician cards in the deck to play Giant Fairy on top of.

Captain Hook: Duelist is a great early-game Steel card that likewise helps the viability of Amber/Steel, built for aggressive play right out of the gate with an extra combat boost on the offense that offers more damage than other cards that cost 1 ink. Like any aggro deck including Amber, utilizing Lilo and Stitch cards also aids the possibility of getting powerful characters into play quickly.

2 Amber/Amethyst

Amber/Amethyst is the other strong Disney Lorcana aggro deck that builds off of a Starter Deck pairing. Once again, Lilo, Stitch, and Simba cards are a mainstay, but Amethyst brings some interesting cards into the mix. Maleficent: Biding Her Time is another 1 cost card that can generate 2 lore, making it possible to have 8 cards of that caliber when including Lilo: Making A Wish. Friends On The Other Side is a strong Amethyst song card to throw into an Amber/Amethyst aggro deck as well.

Dr. Facilier: Charlatan and Dr. Facilier: Agent Provocateur are another good Shift pairing, as getting the 7 cost Agent Provocateur into play early offers strong possibilities with 3 lore per quest and the Into the Shadows ability that allows banished characters to be returned to the hand. Befuddle can force opponents to keep replaying the same cards in the early game, forcing them to lag behind the aggro acceleration.

1 Amber/Emerald

Dubbed Lemon-Lime based on its color combination, the Amber/Emerald pairing can make for devastating aggression in Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter. Like any Amber Aggro deck, the classically great early-game Amber cards all appear here, but the Emerald cards in play alongside them offer arguably the best pairing to knock out opponents at blistering speeds.

Flynn Rider: Charming Rogue and Cheshire Cat: Not All There offer great lore generation at a low cost while deterring attacks, and Kuzco: Temperamental Emperor and Mad Hatter: Gracious Host double down on both of these regards at a higher cost. Tinker Bell: Most Helpful and Genie: On The Job bring some of the Evasive advantage found in the Emerald/Ruby deck to the table. It's incredibly easy to gain rapid momentum with an Amber/Emerald deck and maintain in the face of attempts at control, making it the front runner for the best aggro deck in Disney Lorcana so far.
