  • Each Enchanted card features unique art and poses, enhancing the visual appeal of the game.

Enchanted cards are always a big draw for Disney Lorcana players and collectors, and the expansion Into the Inklands is adding a fresh new batch to the game. Enchanted is the highest designation of rarity in the game, referring to cards with alternate art and a special "Inkwash" foil treatment. Although they have the same value in gameplay as their standard variants, Enchanted Disney Lorcana cards definitely pop in a collection.

The First Chapter and Rise of the Floodborn both featured 12 Enchanted cards, but the new cards in Into the Inklands ups that sum to 18. The additional six step outside of character cards for the first time, incorporating an item card and a song along with four of the new locations. The location cards also feature the first landscape art of the game, which makes for some beautiful Enchanted variants.

18 Chernabog: Evildoer

205/204, Amber

Chernabog Evildoer Amber Enchanted card in Disney Lorcana.

Chernabog: Evildoer is a devastating card to unleash in Disney Lorcana: Into the Inklands, although thanks to its massive cost of 10 ink, it's not easy to do so. The Power of Evil lets the cost decrease for each character card in a player's discard, however, making it possible to get him on the table at a discount. The Enchanted variant shows Chernabog with an expression of stony derision, and rough brush strokes give the card an impressionistic feel.

17 Kida: Protector Of Atlantis

206/204, Amber

Kida Protector of Atlantis Disney Lorcana Amber card showing the character basked in an amber glow.

Kida: Protector of Atlantis is a Legendary card even when it's not Enchanted, and playing it at the right time can be a big game-changer. This Atlantis: The Lost Empire card imposes a minus-three to every character's strength until the start of the player's next turn, which can result in a big shift in momentum when used with care. Both versions of the card show Kida with an amber glow, but the Enchanted variant takes a more dramatic pose from the scene where Kida's crystal is dragged toward the Heart of Atlantis.

16 Pride Lands: Pride Rock

207/204, Amber

Into the Inklands is introducing location cards to Disney Lorcana, and Pride Lands: Pride Rock is the first in the line-up to get the Enchanted treatment. We Are All Connection gives characters at the location +2 willpower, and moving a Prince or King character to the Pride Lands lowers the cost of playing characters. The Enchanted card changes the setting to night-time, depicting a sky full of starts behind the imposing Pride Rock.

15 Jafar: Striking Illusionist

208/204, Amethyst

Jafar Striking Illusionist Enchanted Disney Lorcana card showing the sorcerer with purple spectral snakes.

Fans of elusive cards should love Jafar: Striking Illusionist, which is a high-level example of how much they can annoy an opponent. Drawing a card while Jafar is exerted gains lore, which works out perfectly with how safe it is to exert him. While the regular version of the card renders Jafar at the center of his array of spectral snakes, the Enchanted version puts him at the right of the frame for an equally striking composition.

14 Maleficent: Mistress Of All Evil

209/204, Amethyst

Maleficent is no stranger to strong Disney Lorcana cards, and Mistress of All Evil is a strong addition to her legacy. She features both a boost to card draw and the ability to transfer damage to opposing characters when making use of it, balanced by weak strength and willpower scores. The standard (but still Legendary) card shows her calmly casting a spell, while the Enchanted card lets her raise her wand aloft for a true dramatic effect.

13 The Sorcerer's Hat

210/204, Amethyst

The Sorcerer's Hat currently has the distinction of being the only item card to get an Enchanted variant in Disney Lorcana, which might have something to do with the strong iconography of Yen Sid's hat that Mickey borrows in Fantasia. It can be a fun card to use and combo, as exerting it and spending a cost of 1 ink lets a player guess at the top card in their deck to potentially acquire it. If played after a card that reveals the top of the deck, the guessing game can soemtimes be eliminated entirely.

12 Morph: Space Goo

211/204, Emerald

Morph Space Goo Disney Lorcana Enchanted card showing Morph in front of the mast.

Morph: Space Goo isn't a powerful Disney Lorcana: Into the Inklands Enchanted card in and of itself, but it has the potential to help some major players get on the table early. Morph works as a universal Shift card, meaning any character can use it as if it carried the right name. The Enchanted variant shows Morph smiling joyfully in front of the crow's nest of John Silver's ship in Treasure Planet.

11 Ursula: Deceiver Of All

212/204, Emerald

Ursula Deceiver of All Enchanted Lorcana card showing Ursula with her eels swarming around her.

Ursula: Deceiver of All is an especially powerful songstress thanks to her What a Deal ability, which makes it possible to play a song again from discard after singing it with Ursula. Depending on the song and situation, this could be overpowered at times, although her cost of 3 is both a blessing and a curse, since it limits which songs she can sing. The Enchanted version of Ursula: Deceiver of All adds her eels Flotsam and Jetsam to the scene and depicts a dynamic composition with light streaming down from above.

10 Kuzco's Palace: Home of the Emperor

213/204, Emerald

Kuzco's Palace Home of the Emperor Disney Lorcana Enchanted card depicting Kuzco's palace atop a mountain.

Kuzco's Palace: Home of the Emperor is a land card that brings an emperor's pettiness to life. Any character challenged and banished while at the location can banish the challenger in return, effectively imbuing the No Touchy! mechanic from Kuzco: Temperamental Emperor on other cards. The Enchanted artwork is surprisingly similar to the standard card, albeit with some magical sweeps of a curling emerald effect.

9 Captain Hook: Master Swordsman

214/204, Ruby

Captain Hook: Master Swordmsan is a powerful Disney Lorcana challenger in general, as he can ready after banishing an opponent for an extra measure of protection. He gets a special edge when his adversary is in play, as the card will take the Evasive status away from Peter Pan cards. While the standard version of Captain Hook: Master Swordsman shows him with his blade pointed forward, the Enchanted variant has him in a smug pose as he brandishes his hook.
