The eighth set of Disney's tabletop card game (TCG), Disney Lorcana: Reign of Jafar is adding another 18 stunning Enchanted cards to the collection. These cards are secret alternate art versions of others in the expansion, with illustrations that cover the cards to create miniature works of art. The rarity of the Enchanted type makes it difficult to pull even one of them from random booster packs, but also means they are quite valuable and special when someone does.
Each set is designed with a specific theme or style for the Enchanted cards, and this time it is taking on a more vibrant and magical look. These familiar Disney themes are collector's items for many, whether fans of the TCG or Disney, and become highly sought-after items. Their collectibility means they are rarely used in play, so although this ranking is based on both artwork and stats, it leans more towards design.
Disney Lorcana: Reign of Jafar will be released at select locations, including local hobby stores, on May 30, 2025, with the mass-market launch on June 6.
18 Bambi - Little Prince
Card 209/204 EN.8, Amethyst Ink
The Legendary version of this card, card 63/204, is notably one of the best cards in the Reign of Jafar set, particularly when paired with another card to protect or enhance it. Yet, anyone pulling this Enchanted version will likely want to keep this collector's item safe rather than use it for gathering lore.

Disney Lorcana Illumineer's Quest: Palace Heist Is The High Quality Game We Were Looking For
Disney Lorcana is releasing its second Illumineer’s Quest, this time called Palace Heist. It focuses on the villain Jafar, and yes, it has a box.
Featuring artwork by Aubrey Archer, Bambi is seen in a swirl of magic, which includes a tiny, glowing, mystical crown. The imagery is as impressive as it is serene, and surely will be a favorite for any fan of this little prince.
17 Lady - Decisive Dog
Card 205/204 EN.8, Amber/Emerald Dual-Ink
The Enchanted card of "Lady - Decisive Dog" takes on more of a dreamlike vision, with swirls of color filling the sky and world around her in this artwork by Juan Diego León. Lady is sitting gracefully in a glowing basket that blends itself into the magical environment as she looks on at her friends and a baby carriage in the distance.
16 The Sword Of Shan-Yu
Card 219/204 EN.8, Ruby Ink
"The Sword of Shan-Yu" is an Item card that comes from the Mulan universe. In this Enchanted card illustrated by Jonathan Livslyst and Renée Chio, it is shown breaking through the glass of an hourglass, where the typical sand seems to be replaced by gold coins and gems. The card's ability allows players to ready a chosen character of theirs a second time to either challenge an opponent or protect themselves from challenges.
15 Wreck-It Ralph - Big Lug
Card 206/204 EN.8, Amber/Ruby Dual-Ink
Racer cards have been rising in popularity in Disney Lorcana, which makes it exciting to see "Wreck-It Ralph - Big Lug" get the Enchanted treatment. Illustrated by Sam Nielson, it continues the magical feeling seen in other Reign of Jafar Enchanted cards, but with its own approach that is more fitting of Wreck-it Ralph.
14 Lilo - Causing An Uproar
Card 217/204 EN.8, Ruby Ink
Lilo is a character who can always make me smile, and seeing her in this artwork by Grace Tran is certainly no exception. "Lilo - Causing an Uproar" shows Lilo in costume about to destroy a sand castle. Looking closely, one can spot that this isn't just any sandcastle, but one designed to look like the fortress of Reign of Jafar's titular villain.
13 Wrong Lever!
Card 216/204 EN.8, Emerald Ink
Anyone who has seen Emperor's New Groove may have a hard time saying the name of this card without doing Yzma's voice, which could quite possibly add to its charm. Illustrated by Koni, this version of the scene seems to be playing out in Jafar's throne room, with walls that are magically moving and swirling with energy. In fact, this artwork makes me wish that there was an animated version of the fight in the Lorcana Illumineer's Quest: Palace Heist game where players are fighting back against Jafar.
12 Rapunzel - High Climber
Card 214/204 EN.8, Emerald Ink
This mesmerizing combination of floating lanterns and Rapunzel swinging gleefully on her own hair is a bright and cheerful card that is sure to capture hearts. In this artwork by Viv Tanner and Ellie Horie there are several details reminiscent of Tangled, while also showing Rapunzel dressed in a more regal and adventure-ready style.
11 Stitch - Experiment 626
Card 220/204 EN.8, Sapphire Ink
Stitch has become somewhat of a mascot for Disney Lorcana, often appearing as an Enchanted card and even has his own Gift Set. "Stitch - Experiment 626" shows off the wild and crazy side of the little alien, on a card full of magic and energy, illustrated by Natalie Dombois.

Disney Lorcana: Reign Of Jafar Illumineer's Trove Review - New Cards Keep The TCG Feeling Fresh
The Illumineer's Trove for Disney Lorcana: Reign of Jafar offers a host of items for fans of the popular TCG, alongside plenty of new cards.
In its card abilities, naughty Stitch helps opponents get more cards in their inkwell, but then can quest for two lore and be easily brought back from the discard pile.
10 Mother Gothel - Knows What's Best
Card 211/204 EN.8, Amethyst/Ruby Dual-Ink
The golden chains and sands of Jafar's magic grow into the stem of the magical flower from Rapunzel in the Enchanted card, "Mother Gothel - Knows What's Best." The fellow villain seems at home with Jafar's sorcery, while golden lanterns, stars, and even what appears to be a Mickey Mouse balloon are seen in the background. In fact, several subtle details are hidden in this card by Andrew Theophilopaulos, making it all the more special.
9 Fantastical And Magical
Card 212/204 EN.8, Amethyst Ink
Starting with the set following Reign of Jafar, there will be two new rarity types added to Disney Lorcana, including one that will be even more difficult to come by than Enchanted cards. This card, "Fantastical and Magical" feels as though it could have been saved to those honorary ranks, given how stunning and truly magical the artwork here is. This miniature portrait of Mirabel by Samanta Erdini includes swirls of magical butterflies and images of the Madrigal family coming from the miracle candle, and appears as though the card itself as glowing.
