Disney Lorcana has released the Stitch Collector's Gift Set alongside the new Azurite Sea deck. The new gift set includes booster packs from Azurite Sea, but its primary focus is on the lovable alien from Disney's Lilo & Stitch. Lorcana makers Ravensburger have released some nice gift sets for the TCG in the past, but this one featuring Stitch may be the best yet.

The latest Disney Lorcana expansion is nautically themed, with many iconic Disney characters appearing as pirates and sailors. The Stitch Collector's Gift Set has released alongside the Azurite Sea Illumineer's Trove and the rest of the Azurite Sea line. Priced at $49.99, the Stitch Collector's Gift Set supplies plenty of Lorcana goodies for collectors, including a unique promo foil card and a portfolio that holds over 250 cards.

For those interested, the contents of the Stitch Collector's Gift Set are:

The card portfolio has 9 pockets on each side and holds a total of 252 cards. The cover art shows various forms of Stitch in Disney Lorcana, including the new "Alien Buccaneer" artwork. Just like the previous card binders that were released, the one highlighting Stitch has impressed me with its quality. As with the previous ones, I've had no issues of cards falling out and this one is great for holding cards from the Azurite Sea set.

A Great Addition For Lorcana Collectors

Of course, no gift set would be complete without a foil card - and the promo card here doesn't disappoint. This "Stitch - Alien Buccaneer" promo foil card is different from the version found in Azurite Sea due to a special treatment that gives it a cool water illusion. There's also a special symbol at the bottom-center identifying it as a promo card (the original has the bronze triangle "Rare" symbol).

In of costs, stats, and abilities, the card is the same. This Floodborn version of Stitch is some of the best artwork for the character to date, so it's an especially great way to get the card. And the new foil treatment is a nice touch.

How The Stitch Collector's Gift Set Compares To Previous Ones

An Ideal Gift For Fans Of Stitch & Disney Lorcana

For those solely interested in getting booster packs and bulking up their deck, the Stitch Collector's Gift Set may not be ideal, since it only supplies four booster packs. However, it's all right there in the name - this is a collector's set, with collectors in mind. The card portfolio is a great addition, something missing from last year's D100 Collector's Gift Set.

And while that set felt a bit more unique with its card offerings, the Stitch Collector's Gift Set feels like a better deal overall. When the price of card binders and boosters are factored in, the $49.99 price tag seems reasonable, and the long-term value of the gift set will likely make it heavily sought-after by collectors. Everything considered, the Stitch Collector's Gift Set is the best gift set Ravensburger and Disney Lorcana have released thus far.
