Movies have been struggling with depicting costumes for decades, but this cosplayer definitely succeeds.
Doctor Doom might very well be one of the harder comic book characters to cosplay. While the green cloak and hood are likely easy, the suit of iron armor has to be hard to do. Yet, despite the difficulty, Instagram @namorcosplay has managed to bring Doctor Doom to life in an unbelievably accurate fashion. There's nothing that could be done to improve the cosplay. That's just how Doctor Doom looks.
From the iron suit to the green cape with the animal fur, it truly looks like the ruler of Latveria has stepped from the comic page into the real world. It's an amazing cosplay and one of the best for the character. A lot of characters don't translate well to real life, which is evident from the many failed live-action designs from the Fantastic Four movies, but @namorcosplay solves what several billion-dollar movie studios haven't cracked yet.

One of the most important things about Doctor Doom is his vanity. He wears the mask due to the scars on his face that he views as making him imperfect. Even if the scars are minuscule, Doctor Doom will still wear the mask just to hide them. Likewise, as the ruler of Latveria, he would never be seen wearing anything but the finest cloth and the most polished steel. That's one of the most important aspects of this cosplay - that it looks not only accurate, but good. If the materials looked cheap or dirty, then it simply wouldn't be Doctor Doom.

Doctor Doom will be the primary villain of Avengers: Doomsday, but this new MCU version needs to have something no other live-action Doom has had.
It's hard to overstate how good this cosplay is and how surprisingly effortless it looks. There have been several attempts at Doctor Doom from major movie studios, and yet, none of those Doom costumes look a fraction as good as this cosplay. Even the recent reveal of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom pales in comparison. It'll be very interesting to compare Downey Jr.'s full Doctor Doom outfit to this cosplay when that's revealed. It's hard to imagine that Marvel would be able to come up with anything that looks more comic-accurate than this cosplay.

One of the greatest parts of comic book conventions is seeing all the different characters come to life. There have been tons of amazing cosplays over the years, but this Doctor Doom really is one of the best in recent memory. Fans will just have to wait and see if the ruler of Latveria will look equally good, or somehow better, in the Avengers: Doomsday movie. But until that day comes, there shouldn't be any problem saying that this cosplay is the best Doctor Doom has ever looked in live-action.
