Warning: There are spoilers ahead for Doctor Who season 15, episode 6.
The Earth is reborn in a strange new state, as familiar faces return and deadly enemies come together in new preview images and clips for Doctor Who season 15's two-part finale. In the prior episode "The Interstellar Song Contest," Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor and current companion Belinda Chandra concluded their quest to return to present-day Earth, but were caught in the fiery cataclysm that wiped the planet from existence. Meanwhile, Mrs. Flood (Anita Dobson) finally revealed herself through bigeneration, as she and her new incarnation (Archie Panjabi) unveil themselves to be the Rani.
As Doctor Who season 15 enters its final chapter, the official Doctor Who YouTube channel has released a new clip of the first chapter of the two-part finale, "Wish World." The short clip features Mrs. Flood and the Rani debating their existence while ruling a new Earth. Several new images were also released featuring the TARDIS team and returning companions adjusting to their new world under the rule of the Rani, Mrs. Flood, and Conrad Clarke (Jonah Hauer-King). Check out the clip and the images below:
What "Wish World's" Preview Reveals About Doctor Who's Season 15 Finale
Is The New Reality Only Part Of A Larger Scheme?
As seen in the gallery above, Earth has undergone a drastic reimagining under the vision of the Rani, Mrs. Flood, and Conrad. Within this world, the tale of the Doctor is widely known, but the Time Lord himself has seemingly settled into a blissful domestic life with Belinda, UNIT has been warped to fit Conrad's ideals, and everything has been given a retro 1950s-inspired makeover. However, when the Rani has previously conquered worlds, there is usually a hypothesis she wishes to explore, so the world's current state may only be one phase of a larger experiment.

All 17 Doctors In Doctor Who, Ranked Worst To Best
Seventeen different actors have played the Doctor on-screen since the BBC's sci-fi TV show began in 1963 - and here's our ranking of them!
However, as seen with Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) and Shirley Ann Bingham (Ruth Madeley) finding themselves brought together, it is likely that some of those who had previously faced lies spun by Conrad have been left wary of their schemes. Mel (Bonnie Langford) may similarly escape their influence due to her past encounters with the Rani. As such, while the Doctor may be incapacitated currently, his friends may be the key to reawakening him for the second chapter.
Our Take On Doctor Who Season 15's Finale Preview
Can Wish World Fulfill The TARDIS Team's Deepest Desires?
With the Doctor and Belinda facing a fiery inferno, many fans are intrigued by how they end up within the setting of "Wish World", and what its purpose may be. While likely only part of the Rani's continued experiments, the world seems set to realize the wishes of its inhabitants in a twisted manner, such as the Doctor finding a new family, or Susan being part of UNIT after being freed from Sutekh's influence in season 14. As such, while Doctor Who season 15's "Wish World" is a villainous scheme, the series' heroes may need convincing to leave.
