An interesting mash-up is heading to Marvel Rivals, and with the very first season almost underway, there will be plenty of new heroes and skins to look out for. Marvel Rivals launched in early December and was quickly announced to be the Overwatch killer. Whether that is completely true or not remains unknown, but the 400k or more player counts consistently do make it seem as though the hero shooter isn't losing traction any time soon.

A few weeks ago, NetEase revealed that The Fantastic Four would be heading to the title at the start of season one, but a new trailer gives fans even more insight into what's to come. Just over a minute long, the trailer showcases the iconic Avengers tower in shambles, with a bright red "V" now seen on the side rather than the "A". Dr. Strange appears to be overtaken by the Lord of all vampires, Dracula. How this will come into play, however, remains unseen.

Season one is almost here in Marvel Rivals, and with only a few days left until launch, fans seem to be thrilled about the revelation of four new heroes to learn. The Human Torch, The Thing, the Invisible Woman, and Mister Fantastic will all be introduced to the hero roster at the start of season one, though it is unknown what role they will as of yet. While the trailer is a bit vague, the title of the new season is known as Eternal Night Falls, and somehow or another, Dracula is coming.

Thanks to a few special mods, Marvel Rivals fans can now transform their favorite heroes into their favorite idols, singers, and characters.

Of course, the comments on the YouTube video are quite comical, as players are already memeing the fact that Dracula owes Moon Knight money. Since the Avengers Tower is located in New York City, which is where Moon Knight has his base of operations, it might just be time for Knight to collect. Fans also took note of the words being said within the trailer, as they appear to reference each of The Fantastic Four 's powers.

Our Take: This Could Breathe Even More Life Into Marvel Rivals

The Roster Continues To Grow Stronger

The number of heroes available for play within Marvel Rivals is already astounding, as there are currently 33 total heroes to choose from. The addition of even more heroes is a step in a great direction, as while the number of playable heroes might be overwhelming to some, the vast majority of players love to be able to switch things up and learn new characters to make their team composition unstoppable. New heroes also mean new costumes, which are a hot commodity in hero shooters, as most players main a single or handful of characters and love to be able to swap skins.

While the future of the title is unknown, as with any game, it seems that the momentum is nowhere near slowing down. With major milestones already being reached just a month after launch, a new season about to begin, and the number of possibilities due to the size of the Marvel franchise, it will be interesting to see where Marvel Rivals stands in a few months.
