Warning: Spoilers Ahead for Dragon Ball Daima Episode #6!

For a gunslinger, Glorio's not much of a straight shooter when it comes to his true nature in Dragon Ball Daima. In episode #6, the anime finally reveals more details about Glorio's employer, opening windows to greater speculation on his role is in the Demon Realm's politics. With Glorio revealed to be serving Dr. Arinsu, Shin's sister and First Demon World resident, new possibilities arise about Arinsu's ultimate ambitions and what exactly Glorio stands to gain.

Glorio was introduced in the first episode of Dragon Ball Daima, secretly present for the first meeting between Gomah, Degesu, and Dr. Arinsu. Hinted to be from the Third Demon World, he's allowed to work there with the surface-level intent of subverting and defeating Gomah. But stopping a would-be tyrant doesn't appear to be the end of Glorio's goals, as Dr. Arinsu's background hints at her nefarious potential in Dragon Ball Daima.

Glorio Is Working for Dr. Arinsu in Dragon Ball Daima

Devilish Double Agent

Despite Glorio's vagueness about who sent him to Earth to retrieve Goku and his friends to the Demon World, Dragon Ball Daima episode #6 reveals Dr. Arinsu as his secret employer. The reveal occurs when Glorio steps away from his group's encampment for the night, speaking secretly with Dr. Arinsu to give his progress report. With only unclear details given in this brief conversation, he lets her know their plans are going smoothly, and next steps would come in a matter of days. One can guess he's hinting at when they reach their first Dragon Ball in the Demon Realm.

Glorio's motives were always suspicious to Shin in Dragon Ball Daima so far, with the young Supreme Kai shooting knowing glances his way when Glorio would deflect from intrusive questions. When asked why he wants to defeat Gomah, Glorio merely says, "Because he's an evil person who makes all Majin suffer, obviously." Shin is left unsatisfied and untrusting of Glorio, as indicated by his secretly staying awake during Glorio's conversation in Dragon Ball Daima episode #6.

Dr. Arinsu in Dragon Ball Daima episode 6

Dragon Ball Daima introduces Dr. Arinsu as a clear scheming type in episode #1, where she's present for Gomah's plans to shrink Goku while concealing her own goals. This is touched upon again in episode #6, where Shin clarifies that Dr. Arinsu remained in the Demon Realm despite being a Glind. She is seen as ambitious and choosing "the excitement of the Demon Realm." With her using Glorio to find someone to defeat Gomah, it's clear that she's making big plays in the First Demon World, but it's uncertain what hold she has on Glorio in Dragon Ball Daima.
