The developers of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot have revealed even more details on the Dragon Ball DAIMA expansion. While the news of a new DLC revolving around the recently released anime is not new, the revelation of a launch timeline and more have surfaced.

First reported by GameRant, the Dragon Ball DAIMA DLC is set to hit at some point in 2025, though nothing specific in of release date has been revealed at this time. This information was confirmed in a recent X post by the official Dragonballgames , where they say fans should prepare to delve deep into part one of the Demon Realm.

Just a few months ago, it was revealed that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot would be getting a DLC based on the new anime, Dragon Ball DAIMA, which first aired on October 11. Goku and his familiar friends have been shrunken down to the size of children due to some strange conspiracy, and are left to adventure through the unknown Demon Realm in order to fix the issues at hand.

Initially, Akira Toriyama was not going to give any input on the latest anime series, but after throwing in a few ideas here and there, Toriyama ended up handling much of the story, design elements, and settings. This means that the DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and the DAIMA series are the final works Toriyama created prior to his tragic ing in March 2024. While Toriyama did not work on this DLC content firsthand, he paved the way for DAIMA, and those designs, ideas, and stories will shine through in DBZ: Kakarot.

While the knowledge of a DAIMA DLC coming to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot seems to have many fans excited, some think that the anime series should get its very own RPG title, as commenter Bamalam says, "Daima needs its own actually good RPG but this is a start.​​​​​​​" The Dragon Ball franchise seems to keep chugging along with massive success, as the recently released Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO has made waves over the past few months. Hopefully, this franchise is one that never dies out, as players and fans can't seem to get enough of Goku and friends getting themselves into trouble.
