shows such as Stranger Things has led to its increased notoriety. Additionally, live-streams of the game on platforms like Twitch and YouTube have also contributed to the increased love of the Dungeons and Dragons. Shows like Critical Role and podcasts like The Adventure Zone have made the game accessible even to those who don't have a group to play with.

A whole industry has evolved around Dungeons and Dragons, with many content creators dipping their toes into its fantasy world. Celebrities aren't immune from the draw of the game, either. Actors like Joe Manganiello, Wil Wheaton, and Vin Diesel all have professed their love for the game, as well as comedians like Stephen Colbert and Tiffany Hadish. So, it was just a matter of time before actual gameplay made its way to other mediums. In fact, a Dungeons and Dragons TV series from the writer behind John Wick was announced as being in development earlier this year.

The game will be run by none other than B. Dave Walters, who co-created and wrote Electropunk and is the creator and DM of the D&D: A Darkened Wish streaming show. He also wrote a comic series based on A Darkened Wish. Additionally, he is a DM of the Black Dice Society and Idle Champions Presents, and is the Lead Designer for Into the Mother Lands RPG. He will be ed by content creator Kassem Gharaibeh, esports commentator Indiana Black (aka Froskurinn), comedian Ify Nwadiwe, and content creator Fiona Nova, who is well known for playing Mortal Kombat with Megan Thee Stallion.

With such a seasoned DM at the table, Dungeons & Dragons Presents: Invitation to Party is sure to be a fantastic foray into the fantasy world created by Wizards of the Coast. The gameplay itself is also sure to be exciting to watch, as the players seem to come from a diverse group and appear to be familiar with the roleplay and improvisation skills necessary to make an entertaining game. It should also be exciting to see the addition of some roleplay out from behind the table and the added element of real-time voting. With such a set up, the first television show to feature live gameplay of Dungeons & Dragons is surely one to look forward to.
