Melora Hardin from real-life couple Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess, and she's not afraid to speak out about the issue. Melora is winning plenty of iration from viewers during the milestone season, and standing up for other eliminated contestants is likely to make her a bona fide fan favorite. While DWTS season 30's fierce competition may make it hard for Melora to win the coveted Mirrorball Trophy, she's not out of the running. Amid the hectic pace of the series, Melora still has time to her former castmates, Brian and Sharna.
With great excitement came heartbreak as the end of the episode was the end of the road in the competition for Sharna Burgess waltzed out of the ballroom on a bad note, the couple later revealed they left the show without doing press due to technical difficulties that left their Zoom unable to connect with the media. That said, the couple noted that though their relationship was a disadvantage in the ballroom at times, they're grateful for the memories dancing together.
In a new interview with Melora also thinks the judges were being fair in their remarks because it's part of their job to encourage and challenge Brian to grow and not rely on his dancing partner, despite their relationship outside of the show. Melora added that she's really upset the couple were sent home because she enjoyed watching their love story being told through dance week after week. "I really love both Sharna and Brian. I think they're just amazing. I'm going to be really, really sad to not have them there because they were great . They were great fun, and I really thought he did great," Melora said, noting she told Brian after the elimination that he's officially a dancer.
Melora also noted that she had no idea Dancing With The Stars' magical Disney night would suddenly turn into a haunted double elimination. "I think that the pros suspected it to be like that because it seems like it would be pretty mean to make people work in that intense pressure to learn two dances in five days," Melora said. "But I hate that part of the show." Melora added that since she and Brian did a series together in the past, they've remained friends and she genuinely thought he "stepped up" and performed well in his last dance on the show. Though Brian was "terrified" learning how to dance, Melora felt like the actor gave more to this performance than she's seen from him thus far. "I really thought the Pirates of the Caribbean pirate was a great big bang to go out on," Melora said.
As noted in the interview, Melora felt a roller coaster of emotions following the intense Disney Week. She seemed to be heartbroken after her favorite couple was eliminated but ecstatic that she is consistently growing and receiving high remarks from the judges' . Melora also revealed she hurt one of her ribs, and though it isn't broken, she and Artem will not be doing any lifts next week on Dancing With The Stars.
