Dying Light protagonist Kyle Crane to secret dev rooms, Dying Light 2 is full of hidden details and weapons players can get their hands on. Players will find a number of other Easter eggs in order to unlock the game's Force choke reference, making it one of the best in the entire game.

A sequel to 2015's Dying Light, Dying Light 2 is set 15 years after the events of the first game. Dying Light 2 is a massive open-world RPG that features intense parkour mechanics and brutal zombie fighting gameplay. As the Pilgrim, Aiden Caldwell, the player must journey into Villedor, one of the last bastions of humanity, to find his missing sister. Surviving the night is tough in Dying Light 2, with the zombies becoming especially more powerful during that time, although there are multiple abilities the player can unlock to make their time in Villedor easier than it otherwise would be.

Dying Light 2 is chock-full of quirky and overpowered Easter eggs that can give the player weapons to change the tide of battle. From a dystopian replica of Link's Master Sword to a DOOM E1M1-styled level, Dying Light 2 continues the series' tradition of including clever little nods to other video games and movies. The Dying Force blueprint is a clear reference to Darth Vader's Force choke ability from Star Wars and allows the player to choke their enemies in the air, making them open for a clean attack for a few seconds.

Dying Light 2's Dying Force Blueprint Involves Other Easter Eggs

Dying Light 2 All Black Rubber Duck Locations

To begin this Easter egg, the player must have completed the story mission "Broadcast". The player must then find five black ducks, scattered throughout Dying Light 2's Central Loop map. The player must next bring the five evil duckies into the VNC Tower, the tallest tower on the map - where they must all accompany the player on an elevator to reach the basement level of the building. There, the player will be greeted with hellish screams and an eerie pentagram surrounded by candles and slabs.

After entering the pentagram room, the player must place all of the black ducks onto each of the five pedestals. After doing so, the player will have to connect different wires across the room to different stations in order to make a pentagram with the wires. Once the pentagram has been made, a gun will appear in the center and the player can interact with it to start the mission. A clear nod to DOOM's E1M1, this Dying Light 2 Easter egg mission makes the player run through the level and discover "ingredients", which are basically blueprints to different weapons. One of these blueprints is the Dying Force, a "throwable" item that can be crafted.

The Dying Force blueprint is extremely fun to use and can change the tide of battle. It also is one of the game's best Easter eggs as it essentially gives the player a brand new ability. Dying Light was always a game known for its silly nods to other IPs, and Dying Light 2: Stay Human has kept the tradition going with this nod to Star Wars and Darth Vader.
