Developer Techland recently deployed Dying Light 2's Authority pack content launched on February 14, allowing all players to claim three parts of what will culminate in a full outfit and weapon. Notably, the February 14 DLC unlocked access to the Intimidating Jacket, Intimidating Cargo Pants, and, finally, Intimidating High-tops.

This marks just the beginning of Techland's post-launch plans for the recently released sequel. Earlier this year, the developer shared its intention to expand upon Dying Light 2 with fresh content for the next five years, something that will ring true to players who enjoyed the team's long-lasting commitment to the original title. Techland didn't offer much in the way of specifics, yet a Twitter post hinted that future Dying Light 2 additions will include in-game events, previously unseen locations, and new stories. While the sequel may have hit store shelves less than two weeks ago, s can already sink their teeth into a few post-launch extras.

On February 16, Dying Light 2 received its second batch of free Authority pack content. The newly available DLC includes all of the following in-game items - Intimidating Gauntlets, Intimidating Leather Guards, and an Intimidating Windbreaker. According to details featured on the game's official Dying Light 2's latest DLC items in the post below from the Dying Light Twitter :

Come this Friday, February 18, all players who've been claiming the free content will have at their fingertips a full Authority-themed outfit and a unique hammer. This seems a neat start to Techland's post-launch plans, which, again, should continue for the next five years or so. At the time of writing, though, the development crew has yet to specify what Dying Light 2 players can look forward to next in of free DLC.

Announced during E3 2018, Dying Light 2 finally launched digitally and at retail earlier this month. The long-awaited zombie sequel further elevated the intense first-person combat and parkour mechanics, making for an experience that stands head and shoulders ahead of its predecessor. And, despite a few odd Dying Light 2 glitches here and there, general consensus suggests the wait proved worth it in the end.
