Exactly what Square Enix will be announcing at this year’s E3 is still up in the air, though the publisher could provide a first look at the next main installment of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series. There is also Kingdom Hearts title. The publisher also has a lot of goodwill to win back after the very sloppy launch of Outriders, so viewers can also likely expect the looter shooters' updates to be announced at its presentation.

Though it may not be returning to a physical stage this year, it’s safe to say that the digital E3 2021 event is looking to be a star-studded affair thanks to the number of big-name publishers and developers that have already confirmed they'll be there. Square Enix is now among the list of the companies showing off new games at the show, so players will likely have plenty of exciting announcements and further looks at previously revealed titles to look forward to this June.
