Players are constantly discovering new ways to cheese bosses, including the last boss of Elden Ring, the Elden Beast. There are several ways players can set up their character to cheese the Elden Beast, most of which are best suited to intelligence-based builds. However, there are also a couple of ways players can cheese the boss using melee weapons. Staying calm and close to the Elden Beast will grant players chances to do damage, no matter which builds they are using.

Cheesing the Elden Beast fight requires a Mimic Tear - in fact, the only spirit ashplayers really need during boss fights Elden Ring's Mimic Tear. During the Elden Beast boss fight, Mimic Tear will repeatedly draw aggro off of the player. This gives players an opportunity to outmaneuver the Elden Beast to attack it from certain angles. Since the boss is wide and tall, hitting it with wide, high-damage attacks will defeat it even if the attacks are slowly performed.

Players can use spells and incantations to cheese Elden Beast from afar or up close. Players can choose to spam their sorceries from afar while the Mimic Tear is drawing aggro a distance away, or they can use the method of confusing the Elden Beast while spamming Elden Ring's sorceries. Either way, the best spells and incantations to use are the immensely damaging ones such as Pest Threads and Meteorite of Astel.

Since Elden Beast is a large, wide creature, players can land almost all their Pest Threads inside its chest or back, where they will do damage inside its torso. Spells in Elden Ring like Meteorite of Astel call down large swaths of sorceries that will overwhelm a large boss like the Elden Beast. Regardless of incantations or spells used to cheese Elden Ring's last boss, the confusion cheese method will yield the most results.

Perhaps the most straightforward method of cheesing Elden Beast is using the confusion method while spamming melee attacks. Although the Elden Beast may not be the most difficult Elden Ring boss in the game, any cheesing method is still a viable one. Players’ melee attack preferences will differ, but heavy, high-damage attacks to its rear will result in quicker success.

Players can also chase down the Elden Beast while Mimic Tear takes aggro, striking the boss’ rear legs from behind. If players can dodge the Elden Beast’s close-range attacks while managing distance to outrun its AoE attacks, they can make quick work of the fantastical beast.
