A talented Elden Ring is too hard, the title's range of weapons and abilities means that players are able to develop their own effective strategies over time.
Due to it open-world nature, Elden Ring gives gamers the freedom to choose their own unique path through The Lands Between. This makes FromSoftware's newest title uniquely accessible, since those struggling to overcome a particular challenge can simply explore elsewhere and return later. Elden Ring's starting area of Limgrave is overwhelmingly large, so players can journey straight to the imposing Stormveil Castle or conquer optional areas like Castle Morne or Fort Haight. Each of these challenges will serve to improve the player's skills and attributes, so fans should turn around from a hard Elden Ring boss and return later when they are more powerful.
While some gamers struggle against Elden Ring's early foes, a video from Twitter SunhiLegend shows the Leonine Misbegotten boss getting cinematically executed. Found in Limgrave's Castle Morne, the aggressive abomination is a powerful cross between a lion and a lizard. Many players will struggle with this early Elden Ring boss, but SunhiLegend's video shows them effortlessly dodging and parrying all of the boss' attacks for a swift victory. The player is well-known for stylish gameplay videos of other titles, like Devil May Cry and Nier: Automata, and they were recently hired by Horizon Forbidden West developer Guerrilla Games.
While Elden Ring players like SunhiLegend can achieve some truly impressive victories, the game's open world also creates some embarrassing defeats. For example, one player's Elden Ring death by ram was a hilariously frustrating failure after an epic victory over one of the title's massive Golem enemies. The player defeated the bow-wielding Golem outside of Castle Morne, leaving them injured but still alive. Unfortunately, while browsing their inventory post-battle the gamer was attacked by a strangely aggressive ram, leading to an unceremonious death after such an epic confrontation.
The variety of locations and foes featured in Elden Ring means that every player will be able to find a suitable challenge. While Castle Morne's Leonine Misbegotten is an overwhelming adversary for many early-game Tarnished, SunhiLegend has managed to effortlessly defeat the grafted creature using artful dodges and parries. The clip is an intense dance between the skilled gamer and their adversary, and SunhiLegend emerges victorious.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
