Throughout Elden Ring starts, players get two flasks, and these flasks only replenish when characters rest at Sites of Grace, or through a few other means, such as defeating groups of enemies. Given how difficult the game can be, especially when it comes to the bosses, players are going to want to have as many flasks as possible, so that means going to collect Golden Seeds.

While resting at a Site of Grace, players can choose how they wish to distribute their number of available flasks. Magic-wielding characters may find that they want more Flasks of Cerulean Tears to restore their FP, and because they are so adept at taking enemies at range. A melee-focused class may want all the crimson flasks because they can tank fights and don’t care about FP. However, players choose to distribute their flask, they will certainly need more as the game goes on. After all, players will find better armor, weapons, items and improve their skills, so they should improve their flasks too.

Golden Seeds are rare, though the world of Elden Ring is massive, and players can find them spread through the land. They are found in a few different ways, mainly players want to keep their eyes out for small golden trees. They look much like the colossal Erdtree, except much smaller. They are only a little taller than the player, so they can’t be seen from a great distance, but players will still likely come across many as they trek across the world, as they have a golden glow. However, that isn’t the only way to find Golden Seeds, players can sometimes get them from quests.

There are a few Golden Seeds that players can get early on, which helps them progress through Elden Ring. At Stormhill Shack on the way to Stormveil Castle, players will meet Roderika. Eventually, Roderika will move from the shack and leave behind a Golden Seed, so make sure to visit it again later. There is even a gold tree with a Golden Seed on the road from the Stormgate to Stormhill Shack.

Players can also get a Golden Seed from the Ulcerated Tree Spirit boss in the Fringfolk Hero’s Grave. It is found next to the Stranded Graveyard Site of Grace early in the game. Players will need to use two Whetstone Keys with the Imp Statue to unlock the area. It is a tough zone, so it might be worth it to level up before attempting it.

There are many other Golden Seeds to be found in the game, but players don’t need to find all of them to finish Elden Ring. Eventually, they need more than one seed to increase the number of flasks, so it has diminishing returns. Players can also get Sacred Tears which make their flasks more potent, as well as make a unique Flask of Wondrous Physick, so they have plenty of ways to restore HP or FP.
