Witch's story in Elden Ring. Nevertheless, it is a charming concept to have the player-loved Ranni held at least once in one's hands as an endearing pocket-sized doll.
The location of Miniature Ranni is near the Site of Grace in Ainsel River Main. This area is located within the northern portion of Ainsel River, which is connected to Nokstella, Eternal City, and separated from the region's southern section. To reach Ainsel River Main, Tarnished must fulfill several prerequisite tasks within the Lands Between. First, they must defeat Starscourge Radahn, the main Demigod Boss of Caelid. This feat will open the gateway to Nokron, Eternal City. Afterward, the protagonist must agree to serve Ranni and retrieve the Fingerslayer Blade from the Night's Sacred Ground. Once this quest is complete, Tarnished must travel to Renna's Rise, a tower northeast of Ranni's Rise.
Within Renna's Rise, the player can acquire the Snow Witch Set, the outfit Ranni the Witch wears. If they ascend further to the spire, they will find a Sending Gate, which will teleport the protagonist to Ainsel River Main. As mentioned previously, this area cannot be accessed from the Ainsel River Well, making the Renna's Rise Portal the only method of reaching the northern Ainsel River. Once Tarnished arrive, they can travel south through the Uhl Palace Ruins and west towards Nokstella. However, they must pick up Miniature Ranni before their departure.
Miniature Ranni Location In Elden Ring
Miniature Ranni can be found within a coffin near the river behind the Ainsel River Main Site of Grace. If Tarnished fail to check behind them before leaving for Nokstella, they might miss this quest item. Yet, after obtaining Miniature Ranni, adventurers might be confused as to what it does or what they are supposed to use it for. Fortunately, the solution is simple and only requires a bit of patience.
With Miniature Ranni in the player's inventory, visit any Site of Grace, the Ainsel River Main likely being the nearest. A new option called "Talk to miniature Ranni" will appear in the resting menu. Choosing this option will result in the dialogue "..." Repeat this option twice more to comically irritate Ranni and get her attention. She will proceed to tell Tarnished their next task of defeating a Baleful Shadow. While Miniature Ranni will not have much to say after this, the player can return to Ranni's Rise before completing her questline to hear some bonus Elden Ring dialogue from the Witch.
