Despite its large appearance, its docile demeanor and holy miter give it a charming and eccentric look that adds a certain amount of lightness amongst the dark and heavy tones set throughout the rest of the game. Although it appears powerful due to its domineering proportions, it will not fight back if attacked which makes players even more hesitant to attack Elden Ring's Turtle Pope.

Although Elden Ring is known for its tough enemies and painful deaths, the game proves it can have different layers within its story and gameplay. While the Turtle Pope is perhaps not the most interesting character within the Lands Between, Miriel, Pastor of Vows, stands out for its unique design and docile nature.
