defeating groups of enemies, or a single powerful enemy. Mainly, players restore their flasks through resting at Sites of Grace which serve as checkpoints.
As players get farther into the game and their HP and FP increases, they will need to make the flasks keep up or else risk them being near useless. Even players who are melee-based can summon spirits to aid them in combat, so having ways to replenish FP is still essential. Players have a way to make each flask-use restore more, this is done through an item called Sacred Tears.
Sacred Tears are a relatively rare item in Elden Ring and can’t be found just anywhere, they only appear in specific places in the game. While it’s not necessary to collect them all to complete Elden Ring, players will likely want to find a few to increase their survivability.
Looking For Churches In Elden Ring
Luckily, Sacred Tears are easy to find once players know where to look for them in Elden Ring. Players need to search for churches throughout the landscape. It has been a long time since the glory days of The Lands Between, and now these churches are little more than ruins, which can make it difficult to pick out between the other ruins on the map. Still, the steeples of the churches are recognizable. When players find a map fragment and unveil a new section of the map, they will be able to see building structures scattered throughout the world. Players looking for Sacred Tears should head towards those buildings. Sometimes they are ruins of other types, but those usually hold treasures themselves.
Not every church has Sacred Tears, but many of them do. Additionally, at least they all have Sites of Grace in them or nearby, which serves as checkpoints and enables them to fast travel. Even if it is one of the churches that doesn’t have Sacred Tears, they are still worth visiting. Sometimes NPCs inhabit churches and can sell players items, sorceries, or incantations.
To improve their flasks with Sacred Tears, players need to rest at a Site of Grace. Then from the menu, select the flask option, which lets players select their sacred flask distribution, increase the number of flasks with Golden Seeds, or increase the potency with Sacred Tears.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
