Elden Ring required to progress Millicent’s questline once the Tarnished has cured Millicent of her Scarlet Rot. Players need to follow a specific path to get to this point in the NPC’s quest chain and eventually find the Valkyrie’s Prosthesis.

Players will eventually meet the maiden again after bringing Millicent the Unalloyed Gold Needle and curing her of the Scarlet Rot affliction. Millicent can be found north of the Erdtree Gazing Hill Site of Grace in the Atlus Plateau. Millicent discusses her plans to continue her search for Malenia but states that she cannot aid the Elden Ring protagonist in battle due to losing her sword arm. However, adventurers can solve this problem by giving her Valkyrie's Prosthesis.

Valkyrie's Prosthesis Location In Elden Ring

The Valkyrie’s Prosthesis is located within the Shaded Castle, a poison-ridden fortress on the northern side of the Atlus Plateau. To reach this location, Tarnished can journey north between Mt. Gelmir and the eastern reaches of the Atlus Plateau. If you are trekking from the Road of Iniquity in the north, you can safely jump down the cliff by landing on the Spiritspring Jump across the trail from the Old Altus Tunnel. No matter your approach, it may behoove you to have either Neutralizing Boluses or the Elden Ring's Cure Poison Incantation equipped to combat the rampant poison in the area.

Once Tarnished arrive at the Shaded Castle, they can no longer Torrent within the vicinity, making it challenging to avoid the poisonous swamp.

Once inside the Shaded Castle, it would be best to reach the northwestern tower. You can reach the Valkyrie’s Prosthesis by climbing a tall ladder leading to the rampart on the left outer ward. If you entered from the west, go along the rooftop of a sunken building and wade through the swamp. If you come in from the south, you’ll need to fight several mobs. After getting to the top of the wall, go left and head down the walkway towards the tower. Most mobs along the way can be byed, although you must defeat a Cleanrot Knight to progress and claim your item.

How To Complete Millicent’s Quest In Elden Ring

The quest chain is almost over once Millicent has received the Valkyrie’s Prosthesis. The NPC will move to Dominula, the Windmill Village in the Atlus Plateau. Here, you will fight the Godskin Apostle and unlock the Windmill Heights Site of Grace. After this, Millicent will appear again to speak with her. To continue Millicent’s quest past this, you need to unlock the entryway to Miquella’s Haligtree, one of the hardest zones in Elden Ring to find.

After fighting the Ulcerated Tree Spirit in Miquella’s Haligtree, you can either help or kill Millicent. By killing Millicent, you will receive Millicent’s Prosthesis Talisman, which significantly boosts dexterity and attack power. If you decide to enter Millicent’s world as an ally, you will receive the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, which also boosts attack power. To complete Millicent’s quest, you proceed past the Drainage Channel and face off against Melania in Elden Ring.
