craft cosmetic items and gear.
Each Plunder Skull is a special container filled with ingredients, Amber Marble, unique recipes, Hollowjack motif pages, or a rare hat. They can be found in a variety of ways, but all of them involve getting into a fight. Players will want to group up with their guild to make the most out of this year's Witches Festival.
Dremora Plunder Skulls have also made a comeback this year in Elder Scrolls Online, and they come with their own challenges to overcome and rewards to claim. Unlike Plunder Skulls, however, Dremora Plunder Skulls can yield Glenmoril Treasure Maps. These treasure maps will help players collect as many special event items as they can before things end on Tuesday, November 2 at 9 am central time.
How to Earn Plunder Skulls in Elder Scrolls Online
Earning Plunder Skulls in Elder Scrolls Online is, thankfully, rather straightforward. Each time players defeat a boss-type enemy, they will receive a Plunder Skull. When opening Plunder Skulls, players can receive Bonedust Pigments. Ten of these items can be used to craft the new Witch-Tamed Bear Dog pet, perfect for any witch-themed player running a sorcerer class in Elder Scrolls Online. They can also receive Dremora or Hollowjack style items; Witches Festival-themed recipes or furnishings; or other creepy and valuable items.
When playing with other people, players don't need to worry about getting the last hit on the bosses. Every player who lands at least one hit on a boss will be given a Plunder Skull once the boss is defeated.
How to Earn Dremora Plunder Skulls in Elder Scrolls Online
The first time players defeat a boss in Elder Scrolls Online, they can also receive a Dremora Plunder Skull. These skulls contain Dremora Motif pages, Writs, Glenmoril Treasure Maps and style pages, or Runeboxes. Dremora Plunder Skulls also have a chance to drop any item from a normal Plunder Skull along with the Dremora Motif.
Each boss-type will drop its own specific Dremora Motif pages. World Bosses drop Shoulders and Axes, Final Dungeon Bosses drop Helmets and Maces, Delve Bosses drop Staves and Belts, Quest and Public Dungeon Bosses drop Shields and Boots, Final Arena Bosses drop Bows and Legs, and Dragons, Geyzer Bosses, and Dark Anchors drop the Dremora Motifs for Daggers and Gloves. These motifs can be used to craft clothing, armor, or weapons. Not only can players customize their character with these themed items, but there are also companions players can customize in Elder Scrolls Online as well.
Elder Scrolls Online is available for PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
