Emily Blunt has been considered at the top of her craft for almost two decades, so it's not surprising that the lauded actress would have a high net worth. The British star broke out in Hollywood in 2006, playing ice-cold assistant Emily Charlton in The Devil Wears Prada, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. A-list celebrities like Blunt often accept endorsement deals to further supplement their income, but the Devil Wears Prada actress hasn't been the face of many brands. However, in 2019, THR reported Blunt as one of the most in-demand stars whom designers approached to wear their goods on the red carpet. The publication said, "Placing a gown or jewelry on an A-lister runs from $50,000 to $200,000 for a single red carpet appearance." With Blunt being such a prolific actress and multiple awards nominee, she's likely taking home a steady paycheck for her glamorous red carpet appearances.

Emily Blunt Had A Childhood Stutter
She Overcame It By Appearing In School Plays, Which Launched Blunt's Love Of Acting
Emily Blunt has been quite candid about struggling with a childhood stutter. The actress says that it was particularly prevalent between the age of 7 and 14, and at its absolute worse when she was 12. Despite her parents taking Blunt to speech and relaxation coaches to help, nothing worked until a teacher came up with a helpful suggestion — that Blunt try a funny accent in a school play. Blunt told Vulture,
I had a really amazing teacher at that age, when I was 12, and he was really kind and helpful and encouraged me to be in the class plays, which previously I had no interest in being in ‘cause I couldn’t talk. He said, “Well, why don’t you try it in a different voice? Try to do a funny voice or an accent. Maybe that would help.” But it really did, I was actually able to speak fluently. Once you’re able to hear yourself speak fluently, albeit in a ridiculous accent, you gain the confidence to think this could happen again and again. It was easier after that night, of that school play. It all became a bit easier.
Not only did appearing onstage as a child help Blunt with her stutter, but it gave her the confidence to continue performing. From there, Blunt was bitten by the acting bug, and was even discovered by her agent while she was still in school. Emily Blunt is now on the board for the American Institute for Stuttering, and she's spoken about how amazed she is with the institute's methods.
