It blends the gameplay style that players are familiar with from the Borderlands series and adds touches of fantasy, deviating a bit from the sci-fi setting the franchise is normally set in. It also follows Tiny Tina, one of the series’ most charismatic characters, played by Ashly Burch. With the game, especially with it being free, players can experience high-intensity shoot-offs with enemies while using creative weapons and abilities to progress.

DLC has been a consistent part of the Borderlands franchise, and it looks like Borderlands 4 may be featuring my favorite kind of new content.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands can, at moments, feel very different from Borderlands, but it does still retain the series’ charm, and should keep you occupied with plenty of hours of gameplay before Borderlands 4.
