The Demon Slayer Infinity Castle trilogy will begin debuting in theaters soon, and fan excitement is reaching critical mass. For the characters, however, this final battle is going to be a truly hellish ordeal.

Demon Slayer is bringing nearly every surviving named character to the final fight, ensuring that the showdown will be as epic as possible to behold. That includes all of the Hashira, with the exception of the now-retired Tengen Uzui, as well as all of the younger-generation Demon Slayers that fans have gotten acquainted with over the course of the series, such as Tanjiro and his friends. That's not a tremendous amount of combatants, but given there are only a handful of demons left, they don't need an army. Here are the Demon Slayers entering the Infinity Castle, ranked by strength.

Murata

First Appearance: Episode 15

Murata falls into the Infinity Castle

Murata is a low-ranked Demon Slayer who becomes friends with Tanjiro, although he’s slightly more senior than Tanjiro is. Murata is clumsy and anxious, often fearful of demon attacks, and only became a Demon Slayer because a demon slaughtered his family and he had no where left to turn. A practitioner of Water Breathing, Murata can use at least the first two forms.

Murata is easily the least-skilled named Demon Slayer to enter the Infinity Castle; he doesn’t have the rapid growth of Tanjiro and his compatriots, nor does he have the skill and strength of the Hashira. Still, Murata fights bravely throughout the final battle.

Kanao Tsuyuri

First Appearance: Episode 4

Kanao Tsuyuri is one of the few female Demon Slayers, and happens to be in training with the Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho, to become her successor. Despite this, Kanao actually practices Flower Breathing, the style previously used by Shinobu’s deceased sister. Kanao is known for her incredible eyesight, allowing her to predict enemy movements and stay out of range.

Kanao is not very physically strong, relying instead on technique to gain the advantage in a fight. She’s able to use at least 5 different forms of Flower Breathing, some of which enhance her eyesight even further. Despite this, though, she fairs rather well in the final battle.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

First Appearance: Episode 4

Zenitsu is another member of Tanjiro’s “class” of Demon Slayers, having ed at the same time. Zenitsu is a of Thunder Breathing, although he’s actually only capable of using the style’s first form. He’s a very anxious and scared person under normal circumstances, but becomes capable when acting while asleep.

Zenitsu must face a more personal opponent than many of the other Demon Slayers in the Infinity Castle. His primary opponent is a former Demon Slayer turned demon, Kaigaku, who studied Thunder Breathing alongside Zenitsu and thus has a personal connection not only to him, but to their shared mentor Jigoro Kuwajima, who killed himself in shame when he learned of Kaigaku’s betrayal.

Inosuke Hashibira

First Appearance: Episode 11

Inosuke is the feral child of the group, and also ed at the same time as Tanjiro. Inosuke was raised by wild boars, and wears the skin of one as a helmet at nearly all times. Inosuke is the creator and only practitioner of Beast Breathing, a style which uses two swords, both of which are severely nicked up.

Inosuke has tremendous senses, able to feel the movement of targets hundreds of feet away just by sticking his sword in the dirt and feeling the vibrations. His wild and reckless fighting style make him a difficult opponent, and one that’s quite unlike the majority of Demon Slayers.

Genya Shinazugawa

First Appearance: Episode 4

Genya Shinazugawa is another relatively fresh recruit to the Demon Slayers, and also the younger brother of Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira. The two do not get along, however, and Sanemi often gets violent with Genya if he tries to speak with him. Genya doesn’t wield a nichirin sword, unlike other Demon Slayers; instead, he uses a shotgun with nichirin shells.

Genya also does something no other character is willing to do: eat the flesh of demons. This helps him to regenerate from injuries and stay in the battle longer, but the consequences of doing this aren’t well known, so Genya’s fate remains an absolute mystery.

Shinobu Kocho

First Appearance: Episode 15

Shinobu Kocho is the Insect Hashira, and the self-itted weakest of the Hashira. What she doesn’t possess in physical strength, however, she makes up for with a knowledge of poisons, which makes even a single strike from her blade incredibly deadly to demons. Shinobu is Kanao’s mentor, and treats her as a sister.

Shinobu has a particular grudge against the Upper Rank 2 demon, Doma, who killed her sister Kanae Kocho, the former Flower Hashira. The Infinity Castle movies will give Shinobu a chance to get revenge against Doma, offering her a chance to finally put the death of her older sister behind her.

Mitsuri Kanroji

First Appearance: Episode 21

Mitsuri Kanroji is the Love Hashira, having trained under Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku. Contrary to Shinobu, Mitsuri’s known for her massive physical strength, which she’s sensitive to comments about because it has gotten her accused of being “unladylike” in the past. Mitsuri’s nichirin sword is rather unique, taking a whip-like form.

Mitsuri proved her worth in battle during the confrontation with Hantengu, and was one of the first Demon Slayers to exhibit a Slayer Mark after Tanjiro. With the knowledge from her and Muichiro’s experiences, the other Demon Slayers were able to activate their Slayer Marks as well, making her critical to the final battle.

Giyu Tomioka

First Appearance: Episode 1

Giyu Tomioka is the Water Hashira, and also the first Demon Slayer to appear in the series. He found Tanjiro not long after his family was slaughtered and, after a tense standoff, encouraged Tanjiro to train to become a Demon Slayer himself. Though Giyu holds the title of Hashira, he doesn’t feel himself worthy of it.

Giyu must overcome his inferiority complex in order to fight at his best during the Infinity Castle trilogy. Giyu has a level of disdain for demons that’s rare even among the Demon Slayers, refusing to even give his name to a demon.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

First Appearance: Episode 22

Sanemi Shinazugawa is the Wind Hashira, as well as the older brother of Genya. He’s a wild and angry young man, lashing out at anyone and everything that gets on his nerves. Nothing seems to bother him quite as much as Genya, however, as he sees his brother as a useless weakling.

Despite his bad attitude, Sanemi is an absolutely critical element of the final battle in the Infinity Castle. Sanemi also possesses a unique blood trait, called Marechi Blood, which makes him irresistible to demons, and even the scent of it can cause them to lose focus.

Obanai Iguro

First Appearance: Episode 22

Obanai Iguro is the Serpent Hashira. He bears unsightly scars on his face, which he typically keeps covered up with a face mask over his mouth. He always has a snake with him at all times, which factors into his fighting style due to it detecting incoming attacks and relaying that information to Obanai.

Obanai is quite strong, and has an unspoken affection for Mitsuri, which may affect his combat ability in the final fight. Faced with some of the toughest opponents imaginable, Obanai is a major contributor in the final battle, and even discovers a new kind of power-up.

Muichiro Tokito

First Appearance: Episode 21

Muichiro Tokito is the Mist Hashira, and also the youngest of the Hashira at a mere 14 years old. He was the first after Tanjiro to unlock the Demon Slayer Mark, which enabled him to defeat the Upper Five demon, Gyokko, all by himself. Thanks to Muichiro’s information, the other Slayers were able to unlock the mark as well.

Muichiro is recognized as insanely skilled, even by some of the demons that he fights. His incursion into the Infinity Castle will lead him into conflict with Kokushibo, the Upper One demon, who realizes a secret about Muichiro that’s astonishing.

Tanjiro Kamado

First Appearance: Episode 1

Tanjiro Kamado is, of course, the protagonist of Demon Slayer, and brother of Nezuko. Tanjiro began as a Water Breathing student, but soon came to master the Hinokami Kagura, which turned out to be a variant of the original style, Sun Breathing. Tanjiro is phenomenally strong, and possesses an extraordinarily keen sense of smell.

Tanjiro is naturally a key player in the final battle in the Infinity Castle, going up against some of the most powerful demons. Tanjiro manages to again exhibit a new technique while battling the demons there, securing him a spot as one of the strongest Demon Slayers still active.

Gyomei Himejima

First Appearance: Episode 21

Gyomei is the Stone Hashira, and the mentor to Genya. Gyomei was once a priest, but a demon killed the children of his orphanage and he was blamed for their deaths. He became a Demon Slayer, and eventually Hashira, after he was freed by Ubuyashiki. Gyomei fights with a unique nichirin weapon, a spiked flail, which he uses to bash demons.

Gyomei is indisputably the strongest of the Hashira, even in spite of being blind. He possesses extremely powerful hearing, allowing him to work around his lack of eyesight. Like Tanjiro, Muichiro, and Obanai, Gyomei also develops a new power-up in the final battle, making him without a doubt the strongest Demon Slayer in the Infinity Castle.
