Players may miss rare items such as the Genji Armor and Phoenix DMW Summon Materia without fully completing the DMW missions or the sub-event "Seven Wonders of Nibelheim," respectfully. They can also unlock both online shops through associated missions. Players automatically receive Fan Mail, but their responses determine the final letter's contents after traveling to the 2nd floor of the Shinra Mansion after receiving their 4th letter.

Mini-games are simple to complete; only demanding players try as many times as they need to sur all requirements.
