An Every Character In Evil Dead: The GameAs revealed by Evil Dead: The Game via Twitter, an update on September 8 will add Mia Allen from 2013's Evil Dead as a new playable survivor. This update will also add Mia's brother David Allen as another new survivor, while the horrifying Plaguebringer will be introduced as a brand-new Demon to control. The franchise's 2013 reboot sees Mia, portrayed by actress Jane Levy, suffer through withdrawal symptoms while also fighting off a demonic possession. Evil Dead: The Game will reflect Mia's unshakable resolve by giving her the in-game ability to convert her fear into damage and completely resist demonic possession.
Mia Shows No Fear In Evil Dead: The Game
While Evil Dead: The Game features movie actors that reprise their on-screen roles through voice work, it remains unclear whether Jane Levy and Shiloh Fernandez will return to voice Mia and David Allen. Series star Bruce Campbell obviously returned to voice Ash Williams for the game, supposedly in his final performance as the character, which lends authenticity to the project. Ash vs Evil Dead stars Dana DeLorenzo and Ray Santiago also returned to voice survivors Kelly Maxwell and Pablo Bolivar, after the television series concluded in 2018. Seeing these actors return to portray iconic Evil Dead heroes makes the game a true love letter to fans, rather than a simple adaptation.
Evil Dead: The Game delivers a wacky and often scary asymmetric multiplayer experience, and Saber Interactive will keep expanding the game over time. Castle Kandar was added as a new map in July, and on September 8 David and Mia Allen will arrive to face off against the haggish Plaguebringer. With an impressive suite of survival skills, Mia will likely be a favorite pick for fans of the 2013 Evil Dead reboot.
