The colors are absolutely lovely, showing off the beauty of the Fall season. Due to its high quality story and short length, many fans are happy to see the show more than just once.

Hilda

Hilda is a British-Canadian animated series based on a graphic novel series of the same name by Luke Pearson. The show has one season so far and fans are still waiting for news of a second. The story focuses on a free-spirited girl, Hilda, who moves from the mountains to the city. The charm of the story is its magical-realism. Magical creatures are a part of the norm, though they are far more common outside of town.

The show has a lot of autumn scenes with plenty of cozy cabins, hot cocoa, camping, and plenty of mysteries to be solved from the unknown.

This popular show is a dark coming-of-age story with horror and witchcraft. Sabrina is half witch and half mortal, and struggles with coming to with those two sides of her. The atmosphere is speak Fall season, with cozy sweaters and Halloween parties.

Fall is a season where witches are celebrated, and Sabrina is one of the most well known witches of pop culture today. Just layer that with some teenage drama for a very entertaining story.

The Haunting Of Hill House

Released in 2018 andThe Haunting of Hill House won several awards such as Best Series at the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards, the Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in a Screenplay, and a Saturn Award for Best Actor in a Streaming Presentation.

Stranger Things

This ongoing show has three seasons and each one takes place in autumn with time skips in-between. It is a work of horror, mystery, drama, and science fiction. It is especially known for its 80s nostalgia. Time and place are definitely given as much attention and characterization as the characters themselves.

The show mostly focuses on kids who are more aware of the mysterious goings-on in town than the adults. Also one of them basically has superpowers due to being part of a morbid research facility.

Riverdale

Murder mysteries are a Fall mood in media. Riverdale is a series centered on high schoolers who are trying to unveil town secrets and and solve a murder. You know, as high schoolers often do.

The show aesthetic is jackets, spooky woods, and cozy nights with friends. The show aired in 2017 and has four seasons. If you love this show, it is related to the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and vice versa.

Scooby-Doo

There is a ton of n re-made and re-booted ever since with both movies and other shows. Some have more autumn energy than others, but most episodes and stories are definitely taking place in the Fall months. After all, a spooky house needs to be surrounded by crunchy leaves and bare branches right?

Goosebumps

Based on the book series by the same name, made in the 90s, they still hold up pretty well today. There also have been recent rumors of the show getting a reboot.

Much like Scooby-Doo, most episodes take place in the Fall and of course there are some specifically related to Halloween such as the very first episode, "The Haunted Mask."

Twin Peaks

This show from the 90s is known for its cult following and is referenced in a lot of other media. Some even consider it to be one of the greatest television shows of all time. The plot is a murder mystery and it takes place in an out-of-the-way mountain town. What starts out as a mundane killing slowly branches out into a conspiracy that involves the supernatural.

The characters are always wearing coats. Many of the scenes of autumn colors and it is all more defined by its mountain landscape. Many scenes also start with two men (one wearing flannel) drinking coffee in the middle of the ones.
