Details of have been leaked to the public, and gamers can't wait for the official update to hit their consoles. The free-to-play game captured fans' attention in 2020 with its battle royal-style competition mixed with mini-games that keep players guessing what challenges they'll have to overcome next.
With over 60 mini-games, players can play over and over without experiencing the same set of eliminations each time they a match. The games vary in difficulty level, with some taking several minutes to complete and others taking mere seconds to grab the number one spot.
Basketfall
Basketfall seems pretty simple at first glance; however, the game becomes more complex because players have to rely on teammates who may not be connected with them through online gameplay.
The game is also tricky because large numbers of players are cut once it is over, making it highly competitive. Relying on other players to score points and hope you are the winning team is annoying but fun. This game only comes up when there is an even number of players to break into teams.
Big Shots
Big shots seem like an easy survival game for new players, but when the platform gets crowded, it is hard to move from place to place and avoid the fly objects with no purpose other than to knock players into the slime below.
Even though the game takes 60 percent of players for the next round, there could be up to 30 players competing simultaneously. The game can take a while, depending on how skilled other players are or how aggressive their gameplay is, but it is enjoyable to see what objects come from the canons.
Dizzy Heights
Very few people can Dizzy Heights on the first try, and even on the second try, it is unlikely novice players will be one of the 42 players to qualify to move on to the next round. This mini-game takes a lot of strategizing, but when there are so many players vying for a spot, there is no time to think before moving forward.
The race aspect adds a level of stress, and players can easily get turned around and go the wrong way until they learn the patterns of the spinning platforms.
Fall Mountain
A race to the crown seems like a pretty easy game to ; however, the added elements of giant rolling balls and flippers that will send players back down the mountain make this final game one of the hardest in Fall Guys.
The biggest group of people that can participate is nine, with the fewest being two, and the more players there are, the harder it is to navigate the path to the crown. With time this game can be easier, but starting out, it is one of the hardest to win.
Hex-A-Gone
Hex-A-Gone is a last-player-standing finale game that is much harder than described. Players must run around and step on hexagons to make them disappear, but the catch is that other players are making platforms disappear.
It is easy to paint a character into a corner resulting in elimination if a well-laid strategy isn't in place. Still, strategizing is nearly impossible when the number of players can vary significantly from round to round. The game gets even more stressful as the levels beneath players get less and less, with other players advancing before them.
Ski Fall
Ski Fall requires players to have perfect timing and jump skills to beat other players trying to score fifteen points to move on to the next round. When entering the game, there are no indicators of which holes have the highest point value, which is a disadvantage for new players.
This game requires a few hours of gameplay to succeed because timing is everything, and with poorly timed jumps, players lose valuable time. The boosters in the game can help players, but timing is still of the essence for players to be launched effectively.
Speed Circuit
There are lots of multiplayer games for fans of Fall Guys, but none have a mini-game as hard as speed circuit. Speed Circuit is a straightforward game that doesn't require a lot of skill but gets more complicated the more players there are in the round.
Of course, the game is not just running two laps around a track; there are obstacles in place that can make players fall behind the pack and lose time that will hurt them as more players finish their laps.
Tip Toe
Tip Toe requires players to not only have speed but a great memory as well. If players can't which path they have taken, they will fall through the course, meaning they have to go back to the starting line and risk not being one of six people to qualify for the final round.
Gamers who don't have great memories when time is of the essence are better off sticking to casual open-world games than this. However, once players figure out their preferred strategy, the game becomes more straightforward, but trial and error is a big part.
Volleyfall
There is a 50 percent chance of winning volleyfall since the game is one-on-one rather than a large group activity. At the same time, the game has elements of some of the best Nintendo Switch sports games but has a Fall Guys twist, like the ball being giant and harder to hit unless the character is perfectly aligned with the ball.
This is another game that players can only experience if there is an even number of players from the previous round, making it harder to practice.
Sum Fruit
Counting the amount of fruit in a room seems easy enough, but making that fruit giant, requiring players to count multiple kinds of fruit, and making them try and find the perfect vantage point to see the screen that reveals which fruit is the focus of the round makes things get a little tricky.
This game is one of many fruit-related games in Fall Guys that requires a superior memory, but all the other elements, plus lots of other players in the room, make it hard to focus. Like other games that seem simple in the game, there is nothing easy about Sum Fruit.
