It may be a while until viewers can see Lucy MacLean again in Fallout season 2, but these three great Fallout season 2 has been confirmed, it's still likely more than a year away, and anyone who loved Purnell's performance likely wants to see more of her.

Luckily, Ella Purnell's best movies and shows are all great, and they all show a different side of the actress. From dramas to comedies and even a cross between science fiction and superhero movies, Purnell has demonstrated her acting range remarkably over the years. Not all of Purnell's best projects are available to stream, however, such as Kick-Ass 2 and Never Let Me Go, which are only available to rent or buy. These three shows are all available to stream right now, and all of them are great for anyone missing Fallout.

3 Yellowjackets

One of Ella Purnell's most successful TV shows outside of Fallout is Showtime's Yellowjackets. Purnell plays Jackie in Yellowjackets, one of the survivors and of a girl's soccer team that was stranded in the Candian wilderness after a plane crash. Minor spoilers ahead: Jackie actually dies early on in Yellowjackets, but Purnell's performance in the show was so captivating and her character so well-liked that Purnell continues to appear in Yellowjackets two seasons later. Jackie is very similar to Lucy MacLean - at least at the start - which makes Yellowjackets perfect to watch after Fallout.

It's hard to imagine Yellowjackets being as effective or popular if anyone but Ella Purnell had been cast as Jackie.

Another noteworthy part of Ella Purnell's portrayal of Jackie in Yellowjackets is how much range it affords her. In the beginning of the show, Jackie was a cheerful, kind, and helpful person. By the time of Yellowjackets season 3, however, Purnell began to play Jackie as an apparition or memory, and her performance became much darker and haunting, and Purnell was incredibly well-suited to both sides of the character. It's hard to imagine Yellowjackets being as effective or popular if anyone but Ella Purnell had been cast as Jackie.

2 Sweetpea

Ella Purnell's most recent TV effort after Fallout season 1 came in the Starz original series Sweetpea. Purnell takes the lead role of Rhiannon in Sweetpea, and the show follows her descent from a quiet woman with a troubled past to a cold-blooded serial killer. Rhiannon is a wildly different character from Lucy MacLean, but that only shows more of how delightful an actor Ella Purnell is. She's just as captivating as a happy-go-lucky Vault Dweller or as a deeply disturbed and murderous woman out for revenge against her bullies, which not many actors can pull off.

Sweetpea is also a great show to watch in between seasons of Fallout simply because it's a well-made series. Though it's only six episodes long, Sweetpea takes viewers on a truly wild and unpredictable ride that's filled with violence, suspense, romance, and dark humor. Even without Ella Purnell, Sweetpea would be a great show, but her involvement almost makes it a must-see TV series. Purnell was also a main focus of Sweetpea's stellar reviews, and anyone who liked Fallout should add it to their watch list.

1 Sweetbitter

Though they have similar titles and both star Ella Purnell, Sweetbitter couldn't be more different from Sweetpea. Purnell plays Tess in Sweetbitter, a young woman who moves to New York City and starts a job at a high-end restaurant. Sweetbitter is as much a character-focused drama as it is a love letter to New York as a whole, warts and all, and it works extremely well. Reviews for Sweetbitter often vary, but one constant is the praise Ella Purnell receives: she's wonderful as Tess, and she gives the protagonist so much life and depth even as she's out of her depth in the darker corners of New York.

Sweetbitter may be a very different show from Fallout, but it's still worth watching for fans of Purnell. Sweetbitter gave Purnell her first leading role in a TV show back in 2018, and she likely never would have been cast in Fallout without it. As Tess, Purnell showed that she had all the skills required to play Lucy MacLean - and more - long before the TV adaptation of Fallout even got started. Sweetbitter is a crucial part of Ella Purnell's filmography and a great choice for anyone who enjoyed her in Fallout.
