Adding a gacha system to the game will almost surely increase its reliance on micro-transactions as players get addicted to finding a more rare and powerful hero to succeed in PvP battles. Bethesda have come under fire for their disastrous Fallout 76, and even their repeated attempts to "fix" the MMO have been heavily criticized, especially the extremely expensive "Fallout 1st" subscription that even started a class war within the Appalachian Wasteland. Here's hoping things stay less greedy when Fallout Shelter Online rolls around to Western app stores. No official release date has been announced, although the Philippines' App Store lists it as expected on April 22nd.
