Who Is Galactus And How Could He Fit Into Marvel's Fantastic Four Movie?
Galactus is among the most intimidating villains to come out of Marvel Comics, whose unfathomable size is just one small part of why he is so feared. Galactus subsists on a diet of planets, whose terrifying fates are sealed by his herald, the Silver Surfer. The most terrifying aspect of this villain, however, is the silent and unfeeling way he goes about his grim cosmic business as a being beyond all reason and comprehension. Should Galactus appear in Marvel's Fantastic Four, he would represent a departure from the norm when it comes to MCU villains, as he is neither a sympathetic villain nor one that can be reasoned with.
Galactus' arrival would also be one of the first times that the MCU has rehashed a villain used in recent comic book movie history. Galactus was already depicted on the big screen in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, which was released just one year before Iron Man in 2007.
